The chemicals in Chinese medicines are very complex,and identification,extraction and separation of their active ingredients is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine research.This study focused on identification,extraction and separation methods for Duanjin Xugu granule,which includes Corydalis yanhusuo,licorice,Himalaya teasel root,Linderae Radix,Rhizoma drynariae,and Cortex eucommiae.The brown Duanjin Xugu granule has a bitter flavor.High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)shows that Asperosaponin Ⅵ is stable among 24 hours,average the rate of recovery is 99.6%,and RSD is 0.55%.Zinc gluconate made in different places were identified with above method.It is found that mass loss of zinc gluconate from new Ganjiang upon drying is the least,and its active content is also the least.The ions lead,zinc and cadmium is the highest in new Ganjiang sample.Metal ion contents in Shanghai samples are equal to those in Huangshi samples.The C2O42-in zinc gluconate is the lowest in Huangshi samples,and it is the highest in Shanghai samples.This study offers the basic data for future intensive investigation of these two medicines.
