| Objective: This subject aimed at patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)and type 2 diabetes(T2DM)to study the correlation between risk factors of atherosclerosis and brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV).To explore the role of its risk factors in the process of arteriosclerosis. To determine whether the level of baPWV in patients with CHD and T2 DM is significantly higher than that in patients with CHD alone. Methods: 158 subjects were divided into 3 groups, including control group(n = 40 cases),CHD group(n = 60 cases)and CHD combined with T2 DM group(n = 58 cases).BaPWV was measured using a non-invasive arteriosclerosis detector.Fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, uric acid, glycated hemoglobin, cystatin C(CysC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were collected by blood sampling.Systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, height, and weight were measured. Then, the average arterial pressure and body mass index(BMI)were calculated. The statistical software SPSS 22.0was conducted for statistical analysis. Results: Patients in the CHD group had higher triglycerides,totalcholesterol,LDL-C / HDL-C,systolic blood pressure,CysC,and baPWV than the control group(P <0.05).Compared with the control group, patients with CHD combined with T2 DM had significantly increased glycated hemoglobin, triglycerides, total cholesterol,LDL-C / HDL-C,fasting blood glucose, systolic blood pressure,BMI,CysC,and baPWV(P <0.05).The glycated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, and baPWV in patients with CHD and T2 DM were higher than those with coronary heart disease(P <0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis of CHD combined T2 DM group showed that age, course of disease, triglyceride, total cholesterol,LDL-C / HDL-C,systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, fasting blood glucose,CysC had linear regression relationship with baPWV.The regression relationships were all positively correlated(correlation coefficients r are 0.560,0.280,0.355,0.310,0.368,0.692,0.550,0.682,0.407,and 0.289,P <0.05).Followed by multiple stepwise regression analysis revealed that age, systolic blood pressure and fasting blood glucose had a linear regression relationship with baPWV.The regression equation was Y =-7.479 + 0.182 age + 0.086 systolic blood pressure + 0.200 fasting blood glucose. Conclusion: The age, course, triglyceride, total cholesterol,LDL-C /HDL-C,systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, fasting blood glucose, and CysC in CHD patients with T2 DM are risk factors for baPWV.Among them, age, systolic blood pressure, and fasting blood glucose are the main independent risk factors for the increase of baPWVin patients with CHD and T2 DM,and the fasting blood glucose level has the greatest impact on baPWV.The level of baPWV in patients with CHD and T2 DM was significantly higher than that in patients with CHD alone, and it was associated with fasting blood glucose levels. |
