| Objective:To investigate the correlation between the levels of homocysteine(Hcy)and vitamin D in patients with cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions and cervical cancer.Materials and Methods:40 patients with cervical cancer diagnosed by patholo-gical examination at Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University from June2018 to January 2020 were collected from the cervical cancer group, aged 31 to 65years,with an average age 49.90±9.13 years;50 cases of high grade patients with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions(HSIL)were in the HSIL group, aged 29 to65 years, with an average age 45.70±9.66 years;50 cases of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions(LSIL)patients were in the LSIL group, aged 28 to 65 years, with an average age of 47.04±8.65 years.50 females who were healthy during the same period of physical examination were collected as the healthy control group, aged 30 to65 years, with an average age of 47.48±8.67 years. There was no significant difference in age among the four groups(P>0.05).Chemiluminescence microparticle immunoassay was used to determine the serum Hcy expression level in four groups of subjects, and tandem mass spectrometry was used to determine the serum 1,25-(OH)2D expression level,to analyze the expression and correlation of Hcy and 1,25-(OH)2D in the serum of the four groups of subjects, the expression levels of Hcy and 1,25-(OH)2D in different clinical stages of patients with cervical cancer and relationship with clinicopathological characteristics.Results:1.The level of serum Hcy in the control group,LSIL group,HSIL group and cervical cancer group increased in turn. The expression level of Hcy in the LSIL group was higher than that in the healthy control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Serum Hcy expression levels of patients in HSIL group and cervical cancer group were higher than those in healthy control group and LSIL group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression level of serum Hcy in the cervical cancer group was higher than that in the HSIL group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).The level of serum 1,25-(OH)2D expression in healthy control group,LSIL group,HSIL group and cervical cancer group decreased in turn, and there were statistical differences between the groups(P<0.05).2.Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was no correlation between serum Hcy and 1,25-(OH)2D expression levels in the healthy control group(R=-0.254,P=0.075);there was a moderate negative correlation between Hcy and 1,25-(OH)2D expression level in LSIL group(R=-0.786,P=0.000);there was a moderate negative correlation between serum Hcy and 1,25-(OH)2D expression levels in the HSIL group(R=-0.761,P=0.000);the level of serum Hcy and 1,25-(OH)2D in cervical cancer group showed a high negative correlation(R=-0.823,P=0.000).3.The expression of Hcy in the serum of patients with stage I,II and III cervical cancer increased in turn, and there was a statistically significant difference between the groups(P<0.05).The levels of serum 1,25(OH)2D expression in patients with stage I,ⅡandⅢcervical cancer decreased in order, and there was a statistically significant difference between the groups(P<0.05).4.The expression level of Hcy and 1,25-(OH)2D in the serum of cervical cancer patients were correlated with age and menopause, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but not with the size of clinical cancer focus, differentiation degree, pathological type and lymph metastasis, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).With the increase of age and menopause, the expression level of Hcy increased and the expression level of 1,25-(OH)2D decreased.Conclusions:1.Serum Hcy expression levels of patients in the LSIL group,HSIL group and cervical cancer group increased in order, and 1,25-(OH)2D expression levels decreased in order, and the level of Hcy expression was negatively correlated with the level of 1,25-(OH)2D expression.2.With the increase of clinical stage of cervical cancer, the expression level of Hcy increased gradually, and the expression level of 1,25-(OH)2D decreasedgradually. |
