Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics of 53 cases of high myopia with choroidal neovascularization(CNV),and to explore the possible mechanism of the occurrence of high myopia CNV.Methods: This study collected clinical data(including age, gender, eye size, eye axis,SFCT)of patients who were hospitalized in the Department of Ophthalmology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from September 2017 to September 2019 and were clinically diagnosed with binocular high myopia with choroidal neovascularization in the monocular or binocular macular area, analysis of the age group, gender and eye composition of CNV patients with myopia,at the same time, the left and right eyes of the monocular CNV patients were compared, using paired t test to understand the two eyes of the patients in the axis and fovea The difference in the thickness of the lower choroid,P <0.05,showed that the difference was statistically significant. Results: A total of 53 CNV patients were collected, including 10 males and 43 females, with the largest number of people in the 50-year-old age group(28.3%);CNV mainly occurred in monocular, accounting for 89%;monocular CNV high myopia patients CNV eyes The axis is longer than that of the contralateral eye and statistically significant(P <0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the CNV eye and the contralateral eye in the macular choroidal thickness difference(P> 0.05).Conclusion: The peak age of CNV in high myopia occurs in the50-year-old age group. The number of female patients is higher than that in males. In patients with high myopia and monocular CNV in both eyes, the occurrence of CNV may first occur in the eye with a longer eye axis. However, the CNV eye is still thinner than the contralateral eye.The occurrence and development of CNV in high myopia may be related to the long eye axis and thin choroid.
