Objective:To investigate the fovea centralis thickness and the central fovea choroidal thickness childer. To analyse the relationship between thickness and diopter.Methods:The study was consisting of92cases(184eyes)myopia subjects (myopia group) and40cases (80eyes) health inspectors(control group)from DaLi district in Yunan province。They were between age of6to16, averaging11.9±2.14years old. There were69males and63females. They had no other systemic diseases. The myopia group were divided into3groups according to their spherical equivalent (SE):group with low myopia (ES<-3.00D) with80eyes of40subjects, group with medium myopia (-3.00D≤SE≤-6.00D) with80eyes of40subjects, group with ligh myopia (-6.00D<SE) with24eyes of12subjects and group with emmetropia (control group) with80eyes of40subjects. To examine visual acuity and measure the fovea centralis thickness and the central fovea choroidal thickness.The relationship between the fovea centralis thickness and the myopia were analyzed by spssvl1Ol. The relationship between the central fovea choroidal thickness and the myopia are analyzed by spssvl1O1.Results:(1)"The reverse image mode" to measure the choroidal thickness was practicable. (2)There was no significant difference (P>0.05) of the fovea centralis thickness between every two group with low myopia、medium myopia, high myopia and control group.(3)There was significant difference (P<0.05)of the central fovea choroidal thickness between every two group with low myopia、medium myopia、high myopia and control group. But there was no significant difference (P>0.05) between group with medium myopia and group with high myopia.Conclusions:(1)With the diopter increasing, the fovea centralis thickness was not decreased.(2) With the diopter increasing, the central fovea choroidal thickness was decreased from emmetropia to low myopia and from low myopia to medium myopia...
