Academic Research On Clinical Chinese Pharmacy Of Professor Zhou Zhenxiang

Objective To summarize Professor Zhou Zhenxiang's academic ideology on clinical Chinese Medicine.Methods Based on literature research,clinical follow-up and in-depth interviews,collected papers and works published by Professor Zhou Zhenxiang,and then to screen and study the literature which related to the origin of the name of "traditional Chinese medicine",the toxicity of Asarum,indication of medication in herbals,the theory of seven compatibility relations of traditional Chinese Medicine,the standardization of TCM efficacy terms,functional omics of traditional Chinese Medicine,and so on.Meanwhile,by ways of clinical practice follow Professor Zhou cases study,learning from presentations,and listening to his lectures,analysis of Professor Zhou Zhenxiang's characteristics in diagnosis and treatment of tremor and vertigo diseases,to sum up Professor Zhou Zhenxiang's academic views and Thoughts on clinical Chinese medicine.Results1.Results of literature screening:133 papers and more than 60 works written by Professor Zhou have been collected,and 87 papers meeting the above criteria were selected,the main works are The Evidence of Drug Use Contained in the Works of Materia Medica,Chinese Medicine,Clinical Chinese Pharmacy,Research and clinical Application of Asarum in Ancient andModern Times,Experience of Clinical Chinese Medicine Research,The Summary of Medication of Common Diseases and Syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine.2.Analysis results of literature and clinical records:(1)The term "traditional Chinese medicine" has a long history.It was first found in Shennong Materia Medica,which is a term of efficacy classification."Traditional Chinese medicine",as a therapeutic substance of traditional Chinese medicine,has experienced the changes of "medicine" and "poison".In the modern sense,"traditional Chinese medicine" first appeared in the late Qing Dynasty.Finally,the first edition of traditional Chinese medicine edited by Chengdu College of traditional Chinese medicine established "traditional Chinese medicine" as a relatively independent knowledge system.(2)Asarum is toxic,however,the dosage should not exceed 3g only under the conditions of being used alone,powder,authentic Asarum,root,oral administration and physiological state.(3)Materia medica contains abundant evidences of drug use,which can guide the traditional Chinese medicine used effectively.(4)Each compatibility relationship in the seven compatibility relations of traditional Chinese Medicine has its opposite or conflicting side,and each compatibility relationship also has its own certain contradiction.(5)Through reasonable processing,proper compatibility,safe dosage,appropriate usage and other methods,Can change the functional group of traditional Chinese medicine from many aspects.(6)In view of the current situation that the terminologies of efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine are ill-formed,professor Zhou Zhenxiang put forward the basic idea of standardizing the terminologies of the efficacy of traditional Chinese Medicine,and classified the efficacy of traditional Chinese Medicine,annotated the commonly used terms of efficacy of traditionalChinese medicine in the planning textbooks of Chinese medicine and clinical Chinese medicine in the national higher education of traditional Chinese medicine,and edited the national large reference book dictionary of Chinese medicine.(7)For tremor and vertigo,professor Zhou Zhenxiang put forward the academic viewpoint that “A disease characterized by tremor and vertigo,often caused by wind pathogens”,often used in combination with herbs such as bupleurum,saposhnikovia,Angelica dahurica,and insect drugs such as Cicada exuviate,earthworm,stiff silkworm,scorpion,centipede and so on,and achieved good therapeutic effect.Conclusion1.The research on the origin of the name of "traditional Chinese medicine" ahout Professor Zhou Zhenxiang in favor of the improvement of the discipline system of clinical Chinese Medicine.2.“The dosage of Asarum should not exceed 3 grams”is a special limited dosage under specific conditions.It is not only not of universality,but also not suitable to guide clinical medication as a general rule.3.Drug sign is the evidence and indication of drug clinical application.Seeking for the mechanism of Chinese medicine treating and effective from Chinese materia medica,and excavating the evidence of clinical medication from the source,will get the essence.4.The unity of opposites is the basic characteristic of antinomy in the seven compatibility relations of traditional Chinese Medicine,which is of great significance to the deep understanding of the content of seven compatibility relations and the guidance of clinical compatibility.5.Traditional Chinese medicine is a multi-functional complex.The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine is not single or isolated,but the overall representation of multi elements.6.Professor Zhou Zhenxiang initially established the rudiment of standardization of terms of efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine,and promoted the standardization of terms related to clinical Chinese medicine.7.Professor Zhou Zhenxiang is good at treating vertigo diseases.He often treats those diseases according to the theory of dispelling wind.On the basis of conventional syndrome differentiation and treatment,he can use wind-expelling drugs to obviously increase the clinical therapeutic effect.
