Clinical Observation Of Malong Dingchuan Decoction Combined With Atomization In Treating Acute Attack Of Children Asthma With Phlegm-Heat Obstructive Lung

Objectives:According to the observation of Malong Dingchuan decoction combined with atomization in the treatment of acute attack of ehildren asthma with phlegm-heat obstructing lung,this study will evaluate its clinical efficacy and drug safety to provide scientific theory basis for its clinical application.Methods:60 children with acute asthma who met the criteria of phlegm-heat obstructive lung syndrome were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 30 cases each.Patients in the treatment group were treated with Malong Dingchuan decoction and atomization,while those in the control group were basic treatment of western medicine.The observation cycle is a week.The symptoms and ACQ6 score were observed and recorded before and after treatment.At last statistical analysis was performed by SPSS25.0 software package.Results:(l)The therapeutic effect:There is a remarkable difference(P<0.01)in the total effective rate between the treatment group(100.00%)and the control group(93.33%).So the therapeutic effect of the treated group is much more superior to that of the control group.(2)The total TCM syndrome score:Both groups can significantly improve the symptoms and reduce the total TCM syndrome score(P<0.01),but the improvement effect of the treatment group is much more obvious than that of the control group(P<0.01).(3)The scores of main TCM syndromes:Scores of main TCM syndromes of both groups are decreased effectively(P<0.01),such as breathlessness,chest distress,cough and wheezing sound,while the curative effect of the treatment group is more significant(P<0.05)(4)The scores of secondary TCM syndromes:Similar to the main syndromes,both groups are highly effective in relieving the secondary TCM syndromes(P<0.01).And when it comes to the syndromes of flushing,throat redness,nasal obstruction,nasal discharge,sputum,piss and stool,the treatment group shows higher efficacy remarkably(P<0.05).However,there is little difference between both groups in the improvement of dry lips and thirst symptoms(P>0.05).(5)ACQ6 scores:ACQ6 scores in both groups decreases significantly after treatment(P<0.01).The control rate of asthma in the treatment group(93.33%)is higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:The Malong Dingchuan decoction combined with atomization in treating the childhood asthma attack with phlegn-heat obstructing lung is clinical effective.It could significantly improve the TCM syndromes of children and improve asthma control rate.It is safe and shows little adverse reactions.
