Influence Of Microsurgical Subinguinal Varicocelectomy On The Sexual Function And Semenquality Of Massive Varicocele

Objective:To explore the influence of microsurgical subinguinal varicocelectomy(MSV)on the sexual function and sperm quality of patients with severe varicocele.Methods:120 cases diagnosed as massive varicocele were collectedretrospectively from January 2017 to June 2018and they were divided into HRV group and MSV group according to different surgical methods.The method of surgery in the HRV group was retroperitoneal spermatic varicocelectomy and the method of surgery in the MSV group was microsurgical subinguinal varicocelectomy.Surgical related indicators,semen quality,sexual function,the incidence of complications and recurrence rates were compared between the two groups.Results:There was no difference betweentwo groups of sexual function and semen quality before surgery(P>0.05);Compared with HRV group,MSV group had lower incision pain score and longer operation time(P<0.05).The sperm concentration and sperm motility in both groups were higher than those before the operation and sperm deformity rate decreased compared with preoperative(P<0.05);The degree of improvement in semen and the improvement rate of sperm quality of MSV groupwasbetter thanHRV group(P<0.05).The sexual function of both two groupswas improvedand thedegreeof improvement of sexual function in MSV group was better than that in HRV group after surgery(P<0.05),The incidence of complications and recurrence rates in MSV group were significantly lower than those in HRV group(P<0.05).Conclusion:MSVcan improve sperm quality and sexual function and achieve satisfactory resultsof patients with massive varicocele,while the incidence of complications and recurrence rate is low,which is worth further discussing...
