Objective:To investigate the correlation between platelet-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and systemic lupus erythematosus with pulmonary hypertension(SLE-PAH).Methods:From January 2013 to November 2019,134 SLE patients in China Medical University affiliated Shengjing Hospital were divided into case group(ie PAH group,n = 73)and control group(ie non-PAH group,n = 61),by whether there is pulmonary hypertension(PAH).According to the SLE disease activity index(SLEDAI)score, they were divided into high active group(SLEDAI score ≥ 10 points,n = 73)and low active group(SLEDAI score <10 points,n = 61).The relationship between PLR,NLR,hemoglobin, serum complement C3,C-reactive protein(CRP),and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)and SLE combined with PAH were retrospectively analyzed. The characteristic curve(ROC)evaluates the predictive value of PLR in evaluating SLE-PAH.Result: Compared with the non-PAH group,PLR,platelets,CRP,and triglycerides increased, and fasting blood glucose decreased in the PAH group, and the difference was statistically significant(P ﹤ 0.05);Compared with the low active group group,PLR,NLR,and hemoglobin increased in the high active group, and triglyceride, complement C3,and complement C4 decreased, and the differences were statistically significant(P ﹤0.05);There were differences in platelet and CRP in patients with different degrees of SLE-PAH,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The SLEDAI score was positively correlated with NLR,PLR,and anti-double-stranded DNA antibodies(r = 0.376,0.393,0.319,P <0.05)and negatively correlated with complement C3(r =-0.333,P < 0.05).The ROC curve results showed that the area under the curve(AUC)for PLR assessment of SLE-PAH and SLE activity was 0.602 and 0.6.Conclusion:PLR can be used as a predictive index to evaluate whether SLE is combined with PAH,and it can also be used as a predictive index to evaluate the disease activity of SLE,which is conducive to the rapid judgment of disease.
