Objective:To investigate the correlation between NLR and disease activity and renal damage in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),and provide clinical data support for clinical guidance.Methods:Cross-sectional study carried out for 503 adult patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and 400 sex and age-matched healthy controls retrospectively.Demographic data, clinical symptoms and laboratory results are all extracted from his medical records.Analyze the correlation between NLR and SLE-related laboratory indicators. Results:Compared with the healthy control group,NLR levels were elevated, and NLR in high level when disease activity is high. The level of NLR in SLE patients increases with the increase in NE,CRP,ESR,ds-DNA positive rate and SLEDAI score level, but the level of SLEDAI score was negatively correlated with LY and C3.he ROC curve showed that the area under the ROC curve of NLR predicting renal damage in SLE was 0.742(95%CI:0.688-0.774 P<0.001).Patients with kidney damage have relatively higher levels of NLR.In LN patients,NLR levels increase with increasing 24h-UTP,BUN,Scr and UA,and negativelycorrelated with the level of ALB.NLR increased with the increase of renal pathological damage, and positively correlated with the level of ds-DNA.According to the ROC curve, the area under the ROC curve for NLRto predict renal damage in SLE was 0.742(95%CI:0.697-0.786 P<0.001).Conclusion:NLR isrelated to the activity of SLE disease and renal damage, and it has a certain predictive value for the activity of SLE disease and renal damage.
