Objective : To investigate the psychological and cognitive function of postoperative patients with head and neck tumor,analyze the related factors that may affect the psychological and cognitive function of patients with head and neck tumor,and discuss the related factors.Methods:A total of 170 patients with head and neck tumors who underwent surgery in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial-Head and Neck Surgery,the affiliated Stomatology Hospital of China Medical University from December 2018 to September2019 were included in this study,including 90 patients with benign tumors and 80 patients with malignant tumors.The subjects were investigated by using psychological pain thermometer and multiple cognitive function self-rating scale.SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used for analysis.Results:The average DT score of 90 patients with head and neck benign tumor was 2.51±1.83.there were 35 cases with positive symptoms,and the detection rate was 38.9%.The average score of DT was 57.84 ±14.24.The average DT score of 80 patients with head and neck malignant tumors was 3.68 ±2.05.there were 46 cases with positive symptoms,and the detection rate was 57.5%.The average score of DT was 71.74 ±12.44.There were significant differences in DT scores between patients with benign and malignant tumors of head and neck,(P<0.05).There were significant differences in MASQ scores between patients with benign and malignant tumors of head and neck(P<0.05).In benign group,age and postoperative period were related to DT positive symptoms(P<0.05),education level and postoperative period were related to MASQ score(P<0.05).In malignant group,age,facial function and postoperative period were related to DT positive symptoms(P<0.05),and age,education level and postoperative period were related to MASQ score(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The psychological and cognitive function of patients with head and neck malignant tumor may be worse than that of benign patients.2.Age is the influencing factor of psychological status of patients with head and neck tumor.Facial function is one of the influence on the psychological status of patients with head and neck malignant tumor.3.The level of education is the factor affecting the cognitive function of patients with head and neck tumor,and age has the greatest influence on the cognitive function of patients with head and neck malignant tumor.4.The postoperative period has an effect on the psychological and cognitive function of the patients with head and neck tumor.5.Psychological pain and cognitive dysfunction of patients with head and neck tumor are the result of multiple factors,and poor psychological and cognitive function may affect the recovery of patients with head and neck tumor.
