Objective:By analyzing serum prealbumin concentration and changes in patients with liver cirrhosis, and analyzing its clinical significance assessing liver function and prognosis in patients with liver cirrhosis.Methods:201 patients with liver cirrhosis treated in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from September 2017 to January 2019 were selected as the research objects.Patients were grouped by Child-Pugh classification,MELD score, body mass index?BMI?,before and after treatment, combined with etiology, biochemical indicators?serum albumin, cholinesterase, total bile acid, prothrombin activity, total bilirubin?,and compared and analyzed the prealbumin concentration and correlation between the groups.Results:1. The prealbumin level of patients decreased after treatment, which was statistically significant between groups?P<0.05?.2. Prealbumin level were compared between patients grouped by Child-Pugh classification and MELD score. As the prealbumin level decreased with increasing classification and scores, there was statistical significance between the groups?P<0.05?.3. Prealbumin has a significant negative correlation with Child-Pugh classification and MELD score, and the correlation is higher than that of serum albumin, cholinesterase, total bile acid, and prothrombin activity.4. In assessing the prognosis of patients, the AUCROC of prealbumin was0.631,the AUCROC of MELD score was 0.701,and the AUCROC of Child-Pugh score was 0.56.Conclusions:1.The correlation of prealbumin in assessing the severity of liver cirrhosis is higher than other indicators.2.Prealbumin has certain efficacy in assessing the prognosis of patients, and its efficacy is lower than the MELD score and higher than the Child-Pugh grade.
