Observation Of Curative Effect Of Patients With Stable Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease By Step Respiratory Muscle Training

Objective: The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of drug therapy combined with stepped respiratory muscle training in stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),compared with drug therapy alone or drug therapy combined with label-abdominal breathing training.Methods: Twenty-six patients with stable COPD were selected and randomly divided into three groups.In the respiratory trainer group,9 patients were treated with drug combined with respiratory muscle trainer for 12 weeks.7 patients were trained with medicine combined with labial-abdominal breathing for 12 weeks.The control group was treated with drug alone.Lung function,maximum inspiratory pressure,maximumexpiratory pressure,high-sensitivity c-reactive protein and 6-minutewalkdistance,modified British medical research council(m MRC),Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Assessment Test(CAT)and st.George's respiratory questionnaire were assessed in all patients.Result: After 12 weeks of training,CAT score in the respiratory muscle trainer group was significantly improved(P<0.05).There were significant differences between the respiratory muscle trainer group and the control group in the range of m MRC dyspnea(P<0.05)and CAT score(P<0.001)before and after training.There were significant differences between the labial-abdominal breathing group and the control group in the range of m MRC dyspnea(P<0.05)and CAT score(P<0.01)before and after training.No statistical difference was found between the respiratory muscle trainer group and the label-abdominal breathing group.Conclusion: Respiratory muscle training can improve the symptoms and degree of dyspnea in patients with moderate to severe stable COPD,and can be used as part of pulmonary rehabilitation treatment.Meanwhile,respiratory muscle trainer have more advantages.
