PurposeThis study evaluated the clinical efficacy of Mongolian medicine warm needle therapy for sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation by Mongolian medicine warm needle therapy to provide Mongolian medicine warm needle therapy for clinical application Scientific basis.MethodFrom December 2018 to October 2019,60 patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria for sciatica were selected from the Mongolian Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated to Inner Mongolia Medical University and the Mongolian Medical Clinic of Inner Mongolia Tumor Hospital. They were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. There were 30 cases in each group.Experimental group:Patients were instructed to take the lateral position, after the affected side was fully exposed, hip points, popliteal fossa points, and lumbar pain points(that is,CT/MRI showed lumbar disc herniation)were routinely disinfected with iodovolt cotton swabs.Needle treatment,in which the temperature of the warm needle instrument is preheated to 45 °,and the treatment time is 30 minutes.Once every other day, three times as a course of treatment, two courses of treatment.Control group:Patients were instructed to take the lateral position. After the affected side was fully exposed, hip points, popliteal fossa points, and lumbar pain points were selected(that is,CT/MRI showed a lumbar disc protrusion)for routine disinfection with an iodophor cotton swab.Acupuncture treatment.Once every other day, three times as a course of treatment, two courses of treatment. Both groups of patients were evaluated with the SF-36 scale before and after treatment, and blood samples were taken to detect changes in serum TNF-?,IL-6,and MCP-1 levels by ELISA.The VAS pain scale was used to assess the two groups before treatment. The degree of pain after a course of treatment and after treatment. The obtained data was analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.Result1.There is a significant difference between the total clinical effectiveness of the VAS pain scale between the two groups of patients after one course of treatment(P<0.05),and no significant difference between the two courses of treatment(P>0.05).2.The VAS pain scale score and the health survey summary table SF-36 between the two groups before treatment were not significantly different(P>0.05),and were comparable. After treatment, there was no significant difference in the VAS pain scale score and the health survey summary SF-36 dimension and total score(P>0.05).The experimental group's post-treatment health survey summary table SF-36:physical function(PF),physiological function(RF),emotional function(RE),energy(VT),mental health(MH),social function(SF),overall Compared with before treatment, the scores of health(GH)and health changes(HT)and total score were significantly improved, and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The body pain index(BP)was better than before treatment but there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).In the experimental group, the scores of the VAS pain scale were significantly lower than those before the treatment after a course of treatment and after the treatment was completed, and there were statistical differences(P<0.05).The control group's post-treatment health survey summary table SF-36 has physiological function(PF),physiological function(RF),emotional function(RE),mental health(MH),general health(GH),and health change(HT)in various dimensions The total score was significantly better than before treatment, and there was a significant statistical difference(P<0.05).Body pain(BP),energy(VT),social function(SF)and other indexes were better than before treatment, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The VAS pain scale scores of the control group after a course of treatment and after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05)3.3.The levels of inflammatory factors TNF-?,IL-6 and MCP-1 in serum between the two groups before treatment were not significantly different(P>0.05)and were comparable. After treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors TNF-?,IL-6 and MCP-1 in the two groups were significantly different(P<0.05),and the treatment group was more obvious. The levels of inflammatory factors TNF-?,IL-6 and MCP-1 in the serum of the experimental group after treatment were significantly reduced compared with before treatment, and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors TNF-?,IL-6 and MCP-1 in the control group were significantly reduced compared with before treatment, and there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)Conclusion1.According to the research results,Mongolian medicine warming needles have a significant effect in treating sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation, which can prove that it has a certain clinical effect, effectively alleviate symptoms such as limited joint movements and pain, and improve patient health,Has a certain rehabilitation effect2.According to the preliminary study on the mechanism of Mongolian medicine warming needles for treating sciatica,Mongolian medicine warming needles may achieve anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors in the serum. The data of this study can provide a scientific basis for this.Prove the scientific nature of this therapy, and provide a basis for its widespread application in the future3.Mongolian medicine warm needles can adjust the three roots, improve the blood flow of Heyi, pass the white veins, and improve the body's autoimmunity to achieve the purpose of treating diseases. The therapy has the advantages of simple operation, safety,no side effects, and comprehensive treatment.
