Therapeutic Effect Evaluation Of "Huoxue Sanfeng" Acupuncture On Grade 2 Essential Hypertension

Objective: Taking patients with grade 2 Essential Hypertension as the research object,observe the antihypertensive effect of "Huoxue Sanfeng" acupuncture,and provide a certain theoretical basis for clinical hypotension.Methods: 66 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the basic medicine group and the basic medicine & "Huoxue Sanfeng" acupuncture group.Both groups were treated with nifedipine sustained-release tablets orally(20 mg once a day),and the basic medicine & "Huoxue Sanfeng" acupuncture group received acupuncture treatment for 4 weeks on this basis.Observe the changes of blood pressure,TCM syndrome score,and carotid intima-media thickness before treatment,after 4 weeks of treatment,and after 12 weeks of treatment.All data in this study were processed using SPSS 25.0 statistical software.Result:(1)Before treatment,the baseline data of the two groups of subjects(gender,age,course of disease,blood pressure,body temperature,heart rate,respiration,fasting blood glucose,blood lipids,blood creatinine,homohomocysteine,microalbuminuria creatinine ratio TCM symptom score,body mass index,and carotid intima-media thickness)were not statistically significant(P> 0.05)and were comparable.(2)After 4 weeks of treatment,the blood pressure and TCM symptom scores of the two groups of subjects were reduced compared with before treatment(P <0.05),the difference was statistically significant;the carotid intima-media thickness of the two groups of subjects were not reduced compared with before treatment(P> 0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant.(3)After 4 weeks of treatment,the blood pressure and TCM syndrome scores of the basic medicine & "Huoxue Sanfeng" acupuncture group were lower than those of the basic medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(4)After 12 weeks of treatment,the blood pressure and TCM syndrome scores of the basic medicine & "Huoxue Sanfeng" acupuncture group were lower than those of the basic medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)After 4 weeks of treatment,the effect of acupuncture in the basic medicine & "Huoxue Sanfeng" acupuncture group is better than that in the basic medicine group in reducing blood pressure and improving clinical symptoms,indicating that acupuncture has a short-term effect in reducing blood pressure and alleviating clinical symptoms.(2)After 12 weeks of follow-up,the basic medicine & "Huoxue Sanfeng" acupuncture group was better than the basic medicine group in lowering blood pressure and improving clinical symptoms,indicating that acupuncture has a longterm effect in reducing blood pressure and relieving clinical symptoms.(3)Acupuncture cannot effectively improve the carotid intima-media thickness.
