| Objective: To study the characteristics of microperimetry in different types of central serous chorioretinopathy by using the latest generation of MP-3 microperimeter,to observe the mean visual acuity within 20 ° and 10 ° of the posterior pole of the retina in patients with central serous chorioretinopathy in acute, chronic and location of different leakage points and the visual acuity in different locations,to find out the existing relationship. Methods:In this study,56 patients with monocular disease who were diagnosed with central serous chorioretinopathy in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from October 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the study samples.Central serous chorioretinopathy cases were divided into acute group and chronic group according to the duration of disease, with acute central serous chorioretinopathy lasted for less than 3 months and chronic central serous chorioretinopathy lasted for more than 3 months.According to the location of leakage point,it could be divided into “inside macular avascular area” group and “ outside macular avascular area” group.German Heidelberg HRA type II fundus fluorescein angiography machine was used to obtain angiographic pictures in the pre-arterial,arterial,venous,late phase and various directions to identify the location of the leakage point.Optical coherence tomography was performed in all patients using German Heidelberg Spectralis HRA + OCT all-in-one machine to determine the presence of retinal neuroepithelial detachment in the affected eye,and retinal pigment epithelial elevation was observed.MP-3 microperimeter of Japan Nidek company was used to detect the visual acuity within 20 ° and 10 ° of the retinal center in both eyes, focusing on the visual acuity within the range of retinal neuroepithelial detachment including the location of the leakage point and the location with the highest degree of neuroepithelial detachment. Results: The percentages of different types of central serous chorioretinopathy were as follows: CSC outside acute avascular zone(67.9%)> CSC outside chronic avascular zone(16.1%)> CSC inside acute avascular zone(14.3%)> CSC inside chronic avascular zone(1.8%).LSD-t test was performed for the mean visual acuity within 20 ° between CSC inside the acute avascular area(22.35 ± 2.71)and CSC outside the acute avascular area(21.97 ± 2.80),and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The mean visual acuity within 20 ° of CSC outside the acute avascular zone(21.97 ± 2.80)and CSC outside the chronic avascular zone(19.04 ± 3.08)was tested by LSD-t test, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).LSD-t test was performed for the mean visual acuity within 10 ° between CSC inside the acute avascular area(20.71 ± 3.57)and CSC outside the acute avascular area(20.36 ± 3.02),P > 0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant. The mean visual acuity within 10 ° of CSC outside the acute avascular zone(20.36 ± 3.02)and CSC outside the chronic avascular zone(17.32 ± 3.75)was tested by LSD-t test, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in mean visual acuity within 20 ° and 10 ° of the posterior pole of the retina between normal control eyes and different types of CSC(P = 0.000).Conclusions:1.The location of the leakage point of acute central serous chorioretinopathy has no significant effect on the mean visual acuity within 20 ° and 10 ° of the posterior pole of the retina.2.There is a significant decrease in mean visual acuity within 20 ° and 10 ° of the posterior pole of the retina in chronic CSC compared with that of the acute CSC.3.The mean visual acuity within 20 ° and 10 ° of the posterior pole of the retina in different types of central serous chorioretinopathy is decreased compared with that in normal control eyes, and "scotoma"(visual acuity of "0")or "visual field defect" may be present.4.The leakage point on FFA of central serous chorioretinopathy corresponds to the location of retinal pigment epithelial elevation on SD-OCT,and the visual acuity of the leakage point and peripheral location decreases more significantly. The decrease in visual acuity was more pronounced in the location with the highest degree of retinal neuroepithelial detachment.5.Severe decrease was observed in visual acuity at the "sewer" location in chronic central serous chorioretinopathy. |
