| Aim: By analyzing the differential expression and correlation of PDSS2 and HSPA9 in colon cancer, adjacent non-cancer tissue and colon polyps, the possibility of colonic tumorigenesis interaction was explored, which provided a clinical basis for studying the role of PDSS2 gene in the pathogenesis of colon cancer. Methods: Immunohistochemical technique was utilized to detect the expression levels of PDSS2 and HSPA9 in 94 colon cancer, adjacent non-cancer tissue and colon polyps.Analyzing the expression level and correlation of PDSS2 and HSPA9 by statistical software.Results:1.PDSS2 in colon cancer and adjacent non-cancer tissues(0.2443±0.0516 vs 0.2684±0.0305,P=0.000),adjacent non-cancer and colonic polyp tissues(0.2694±0.0304 vs0.2589±0.0284,P=0.039),colon cancer and colon polyps(0.2453±0.0490 vs0.2586±0.0289,P=0.042)was statistically significant; There was a statistically significant difference in the expression of HSPA9 between colon cancer and adjacent non-cancer tissues(0.2840±0.0282 vs 0.3236±0.0306,P=0.000),adjacent non-cancer and colonic polyp tissues(0.3239±0.0305 vs 0.2919±0.0374,P=0.000),there was no significant difference in the expression of HSPA9 between colon cancer and colon polyps(0.2869±0.0286 vs 0.2922±0.0352,P=0.147).2.There was no significant difference in the expression of PDSS2 and subgroups of clinical parameters in colon cancer tissues(P>0.05);There was a statistically significant difference in the expression of HSPA9 between well-differentiated and poorly differentiated(0.2823±0.0298 vs0.3003±0.0141,P=0.015),uninfiltrated and infiltrated serosa(0.2730±0.0263 vs0.2909±0.0284,P=0.022),and there was no statistical difference between the subgroups of other clinical parameters(P>0.05).3.There was no correlation between the expression of PDSS2 and HSPA9 in colon cancer tissues(r=0.037,P=0.727)and adjacent non-cancer tissues(r=0.149,P=0.217);the expression of PDSS2 and HSPA9 in colon polyps was correlated(r=0.532,P=0.000).4.In colon cancer tissues, the expression of PDSS2 and HSPA9 in the right hemicolon(r=0.371,P=0.031)and immunohistochemical gene CEA negative(r=1.000,P=0.000)were correlated, there was no correlation with the expression of other clinical parameters subgroup(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.This study found that the expression of PDSS2 in non-cancer,colon polyps and colon cancer tissues decreased gradually, suggesting that low expression of PDSS2 may be an early event in the development of colon cancer;2.HSPA9 was highly expressed in colon cancer tissues with low degree of differentiation and high degree of infiltration, but further experiments are needed to determine the evolution process in the development of colon cancer;3.PDSS2 and HSPA9 were positively correlated in the expression of colon polyps and lack of correlation in colon cancer expression. |
