Objectives In this study, compound eucommia decoction combined with isokinetic muscle training was used for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with deficiency of liver and kidney,To observe its clinical effect and provide a safe and effective compound therapy for the clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods From November 2018 to November 2019,60 outpatients and inpatients with knee osteoarthritis with deficiency of liver and kidney were selected from the orthopedics department of zhangzhou hospital of traditional Chinese medicine affiliated to fujian university of traditional Chinese medicine.A random number table was used to randomly divide 30 cases into the control group and the experimental group.the control group received basic treatment plus isokinetic muscle training, the experimental group received basic treatment plus compound eucommia decoction combined with isokinetic muscle training treatment. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.compared before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment of knee joint in the 2 groups of TCM syndrome score,VAS score,WOMAC osteoarthritis index score, therapeutic effect evaluation and the total curative effect evaluation of TCM syndrome, discuss the treatment effect, and using the statistical software SPSS 23.0 to collect data for statistical analysis. Results 1.Before treatment,VAS score,WOMAC score and TCM syndrome score of the control group and the experimental group showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),which was comparable2.After 2 weeks of treatment,intra-group comparison: VAS score,WOMAC score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison between groups: VAS score WOMAC score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.After 4 weeks of treatment,intra-group comparison: VAS score,WOMAC score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison between groups: VAS score WOMAC score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the experimental group was 90.00%,significantly higher than that in the control group(70.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of total clinical efficacy between the two groups: the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of the control group(76.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the experimental group was 93.33%,significantly higher than that in the control group(73.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of total clinical efficacy between the two groups: the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of the control group(76.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Compound eucommia decoction combined with isokinetic muscle training in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with liver-kidney deficiency can effectively relieve the short-term pain of patients, improve the knee function and improve the quality of life of patients. And the results were better than that of isokinetic muscle training alone. It is a safe and effective compound therapy for the clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis with deficiency of liver and kidney. |
