| Objective:In order to analyze the voice quality of vocal cord polyp patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux, and explore the influence of laryngopharyngeal reflux on voice quality of vocal cord polyp patients.Method:79 adult patients with vocal cord polyps who visited our department from October 2018 to July 2019 were selected and scored with Reflux symptom index(RSI)and reflux finding score(RFS),of which RFS﹥7 and RSI﹥13 or previous diagnosis of laryngopharyngeal reflux were22 patients(reflux group)and 57 patients(control group)who did not meet this condition. All 79 patients underwent electronic nasopharynx laryngoscopy, simplified voice handicap index(VHI-10)score,voicerelated quality of life test(V-RQOL),GRBAS(grade,G)grade and voice acoustic test. Two independent samples T test was used to compare the differences between the two groups in VHI-10 score,V-RQOL score,G grade, mean of fundamental frequency perturbation, mean of amplitude perturbation, mean of maximum phonation time(MPT)and mean of voice disorder severity index(DSI).The composition ratios of broad-based vocalcord polyps and bilateral vocal cord polyps in the two groups were calculated respectively, and chi-square test was used to compare the rates. Results:The mean VHI-10 score, the mean V-RQOL score and G grade were significantly different between the reflux group(18.73±9.533,58.76±19.29,2.27 ±0.631)and the non-reflux group(12.96±7.655,73.97±18.97,1.92±0.625)(p=0.007,p=0.002,p=0.028).Jitter,Shimmer,MPT and DSI have no difference between the two groups(p=0.657,p=0.129,p=0.199,p=0.957).The incidence of polyps of broad base and bilateral vocal cords in reflux group(72.7%,77.3%)was significantly higher than that in control group(45.6%,47.4%),with statistically significant difference(p=0.030,0.016).Conclusion:Laryngopharyngeal reflux can affect the psychological and life quality of patients with vocal cord polyps and aggravate hoarseness.Laryngopharyngeal reflux is closely related to the occurrence of broad-base vocal cord polyps and bilateral vocal cord polyps. |
