Objective In this study,we observed the application effect of two different materials of surgical towels in neurosurgery, discussing the two in the anti permeability performance, the patient's intraoperative temperature changes, surgical incision bacteria monitoring growth and the influence of postoperative SSI,provide a reference for surgical drapes. Methods 1 A total of 185 neurosurgical surgeries were selected from April to July 2019 in a first-class general hospital. They were randomly divided into 2 groups, observation group(93 cases)were covered with cotton drape, test group(92 cases)were covered with polyester filament fiber. The two groups were compared to analyze the anti-permeation performance, incidence of intraoperative hypothermia, and incidence of postoperative SSI.2 According to the operation schedule,35 patients in the test group and the control group were selected respectively by using the random number table method. Before the end of the operation, collect the rubbing liquid on the surface of the incision and send it to bacterial culture.Comparative analysis the bacterial growth of incisions between the twogroups. Results 1 When the operation time ? 3h,there was no statistically significant difference in the wetting rate of surgical drapes around the incision between the two groups(P> 0.05).When the operation time >3h the wetting rate of cotton drape was 80.6%,and that of long-fiber polyester fiber drape was 24.1%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).When the amount of intraoperative irrigation fluid was ?1000ml,there was no statistically significant difference in the wetting rate of the surgical drape around the incision between the two groups(P> 0.05).When the amount of intraoperative irrigation fluid was> 1000 ml,the wetting rate of cotton drape was 85.7%,and that of long-fiber polyester fiber drape was24.5%,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2 The incidence of intraoperative hypothermia was 22.8% in the cotton group and 11.2% in the polyester filament fiber group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).3 The incidence of SSI in the cotton group was 16.3%,while that in the polyester filament fiber group was 6.7%,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).4 The positive rate of incision bacterial culture in the test group using long-fiber polyester fiber drape was 15.6%,which was lower than that in the control group using cotton drape(45.5%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).5 The completion time of surgical drape in long-fiber polyester fiber group was about 3±1.62 minutes, and that in cotton group was about 5 ±2.17 minutes, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of the long-fiber polyester fiber group was 85.7%,and that of the cotton group was 57.1%,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The long-fiber polyester fiber drape system has a good effect of blocking bacterial contamination of surgical incisions. In neurosurgery operations with a long operation time and a large amount of irrigating fluid, use the long-fiber polyester fiber drape can prevent the immersion of intraoperative irrigation fluid better, and protect the surgical incision and reduce the incidence ofintraoperative hypothermia and SSI.To a certain extent,it can save manpower and material resources and improve work efficiency.
