Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Baihui Moxibustion In The Treatment Of Primary Tinnitus Of Spleen And Stomach Weakness Type

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Baihui moxibustion in the treatment of patients with primary tinnitus of weak spleen and stomach type,and to provide new ideas for clinical.MethodsIn this study,60 patients with primary tinnitus of spleen and stomach weakness type who were treated in acupuncture department and otolaryngology department of our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The observation group: acupuncture combined with Baihui moxibustion.The main acupuncture points selection included: Ermen,Tinghui,Yifeng,Fengchi(all affected sides);and the adjunct acupuncture points included: Pishu,Weishu,Zusanli(both sides),Zhongwan;moxibustion Baihui during acupuncturing,the treatment is once a day,1 course of 7days(continuous treatment 6 days,rest 1 day),a total of 4 courses of treatment.Control group:Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules combined with Mecobalamin tablets was taken orally,Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules,10 mg each time,once a night;Methylcobalamin tablets,0.5mg each time,3 times a day,both groups took fourteen-weeks course.Observe and record Tinnitus Effect Questionnaire(TEQ)score,Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI)score,pure tone average of air conduction and clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,SPSS20.0 was used to analyze all the data.Results1.Tinnitus Effect Questionnaire(TEQ): After treatment,the individual and total scores of TEQ in the two groups were reduced compared with that before treatment,with significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in scores of the environment in which tinnitus appeared and the effects of tinnitus on life and work(P>0.05),however,there was a significant difference in reducing the individual scores of the effects of tinnitus duration and tinnitus on sleep and mood and patients overall feelings about tinnitus and total scores(P<0.05),and the observation group was superior to the control group.2.Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI): After treatment,the scores of THI in the two groups were reduced compared with that before treatment,and there was a significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment,the observation group was superior to the control group in reducing the scores of THI,with a significant difference(P<0.05).3.Pure tone average of air conduction : After treatment,the pure tone average of air conduction in the two groups were reduced compared with that before treatment,and there was a significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment,the observation group was superior to the control group in reducing the pure tone average of air conduction,with a significant difference(P<0.05).4.Clinical curative effect: The total effective rate in the observation group was73.33%,and that in the control group was 62.07%,which was significantly different(P<0.05),and the observation group was superior to the control group.Conclusions1.Acupuncture combined with Baihui moxibustion for the treatment of primary tinnitus with weak spleen and stomach type has definite clinical efficacy,and has advantages over oral Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules combined with Mecobalamin tablets in shortening the time of tinnitus,reducing the impact of tinnitus on mood and sleep,improving patients overall feelings of tinnitus,and improving hearing.2.The clinical curative effect of acupuncture combined with Baihui moxibustion on primary tinnitus with weak spleen and stomach type is better than oral Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules combined with Mecobalamin tablets.
