In recent years, the prevalence of dermatomyositis(DM)and polymyositis(PM)has an increasing trend.Dermatomyositis and polymyositis are a kind of autoimmune-related diseases, which mainly involve the proximal skeletal muscles of the extremities,as well as respiratory, digestive and circulatory systems.the main clinical manifestations are muscle weakness of proximal extremities, dyspnea, dysphagia, palpitation and so on.There are many causes of death of dermatomyositis and polymyositis, including interstitial lung disease, malignancy, heart failure, respiratory failure, infection and so on.The main causes are interstitial lung disease and malignant tumor. Conclusion : The age of PM/DM patients complicated with malignant was significantly higher than that of PM/DM patients and PM/DM-ILD patients, and it was statistically significant with the age of PM/DM patients, but not with PM/DM-ILD patients(P > 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the age of PM/DM-ILD patients and the age of PM/DM patients(P>0.05).Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,Platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio and C-reactive protein-to-albumin ratio are three new inflammatory indexes found recently. These three new inflammatory indexes can be used as predictors of disease progression or poor prognosis in autoimmune related diseases, malignant tumors, unstable angina pectoris and other diseases.A total of 117 patients with PM/DM were collected, including 33 patients with dermatomyositis and polymyositis complicated with interstitial lung disease and 15 patients with PM/DM complicated with malignant. The ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes and the ratio of platelet to lymphocytes in PM/DM patients with interstitial lung disease and malignant were significantly higher than those in PM/DM patients, especially in PM/DM patients with malignant. The ratio of C-reactive protein to plasma albumin(CAR)in PM/DM patients with interstitial lung disease((ILD))and malignant tumors was higher than that in PM/DM patients, but there was no significant difference.Binomial Logistic regression analysis showed that NLR and PLR were not independent risk factors for ILD and malignant tumor in patients with PM/DM. |
