Saxifraga umbellulata Hook.f.et Thoms is a Tibetan medicine called Songdi,which tastes bitter and cool,clears heat,and treats liver,bile fever and trauma.There are few literatures on the chemical constituents of Saxifraga umbellulata Hook.f.et Thoms.In this paper,the chemical constituents and biological activity of S.umbellulata Hook.f.et Thoms were studied.Using modern chromatographic separation techniques,12 compounds were finally isolated from S.umbellulata Hook.f.et Thoms,and at the same time,the spectral analysis techniques(EI-MS,IR,1H-NMR,13C-NMR,etc.)were used to identify the structure of the isolated compounds.All of them were identified as physcion?1?,3,5,4'-trihydroxy-7,3'-dimethoxy flavone?2?,1,7-bis?3,4-dihydroxyphenyl?hepta-4E,6E-dien-3-one?3?,naringenin?4?,kaempferol?5?,hirsutenone?6?,hexadecanoic acid?7?,dibutyl phthalate?8?,tetradecanoic acid?9?,tricin?10?,luteolin?11?and umbelliferone?12?.All these compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.The isolated compounds were studied for ADA enzyme inhibitory activity,the results showed that:1,7-bis?3,4-dihydroxyphenyl?hepta-4E,6E-dien-3-one?3?and luteolin?11?have inhibitory rates of 65.70%and 61.96%at the concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge is a plant of Sapindaceae,which is a unique high-quality woody oil plant in China.The seeds of X.sorbifolia are rich in protein after extraction of oil.The protein of the oilseed meal is extracted and purified and its physical characteristics were studied to provide a scientific basis for the development and utilization of X.sorbifolia seed resources.In this paper,the alkali-soluble acid precipitation method and the salt solution method are used to extract protein from X.sorbifolia oilseed.The results of alkali-soluble acid precipitation method to extract protein from X.sorbifolia oilseed showed that when the ratio of material to liquid was 1:16,pH was 9,extraction temperature was 45?and extraction time was 40 min,the content of oilseed protein was 64.95%and extraction rate was 7.95%;The results of salt solution method to extract protein from X.sorbifolia oilseed showed that when the ratio of material to liquid was 1:14,NaCl concentration was 0.6mol/L,extraction temperature was 60?,extraction time was 50min,the content of oilseed protein was 49.18%and extraction rate was 4.95%.The oilseed protein of X.sorbifolia obtained by the alkali-soluble acid precipitation method was used to determine its isoelectric point,solubility,water-holding capacity,oil-holding capacity,foaming ability and foaming stability.The results showed that the oil seed protein?s solubility of X.sorbifolia was the best at 60?,and there was no significant change after 60?;when pH is 5,the solubility is the worst;and the concentration of NaCl is0.8mol/L,the solubility is the best;the water holding capacity of the oilseed protein of X.sorbifolia is 3.90 g/g and oil holding capacity of it is 3.66 g/g;the foaming ability and foam stability of the oilseed protein of X.sorbifolia peaked with the change of NaCl concentration;the isoelectric point of the oilseed protein of X.sorbifolia is about 4.5.
