A Research On The Cultural Identity Of Chinese Medicine Of European And American Students In China

As the representative of Chinese traditional excellent culture,traditional Chinese medicine culture is rooted in the soil of Chinese culture.In recent years,with the continuous follow-up of Chinese culture's outward spread,the culture of traditional Chinese medicine is increasingly concerned by the world.In the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,TCM culture also plays an important role in the field of cultural teaching and cultural communication.As the main body of traditional Chinese medicine culture teaching and cultural communication,European and American students coming to China will learn about their current recognition of traditional Chinese medicine culture,improve their understanding and understanding of traditional Chinese medicine culture,and enhance their sense of recognition of traditional Chinese medicine culture,which will be of great help to traditional Chinese medicine culture teaching and cultural communication.This study mainly adopts the method of combining quantitative research and qualitative research.First,read and sort out the relevant literature,summarize and sort out the previous research results,and lay a solid theoretical foundation for this study.Then,the questionnaire of TCM cultural identity of European and American overseas students was compiled,and 90 European and American overseas students from a university in Dalian were investigated,and the data were analyzed by spss24.0.Finally,five European and American overseas students were interviewed to further explore the relevant factors affecting the cultural identity of traditional Chinese medicine.Through research and analysis,this paper finds that the cultural identity of Chinese medicine of European and American students in China is in the middle level.Among the three dimensions of TCM cultural identity,the emotional dimension has the highest identity score,the behavioral dimension is the second,and the cognitive dimension has the lowest identity score.In addition,the factors that have a significant impact on the cultural identityof traditional Chinese medicine are the age,time,purpose and experience of overseas students from Europe and the United States;while the gender,nationality,major,time,level and knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine culture of overseas students from Europe and the United States have no significant impact on the cultural identity of traditional Chinese medicine.Based on the discussion of the research results,this paper puts forward five suggestions to improve the cultural identity of Chinese medicine for overseas students from Europe and the United States: to carry out targeted teaching according to the individual background variables of the students;to speed up the construction of the teaching staff of Chinese medicine;to strengthen the research and development of Chinese medicine cultural textbooks;to build a scientific and reasonable curriculum structure of Chinese medicine cultural teaching;to enrich the understanding of overseas students And the way of traditional Chinese medicine culture;innovation of traditional Chinese medicine culture and the way of communication.
