Objective:To explore the relationship between serum marker Golgi protein 73(GP73)and cirrhosis and its clinical significance,so as to provide a new reference for clinical diagnosis, treatment, disease monitoring and prognosis evaluation of chronic liver disease.Materials and Methods:We enrolled 177 cases of patients diagnosed with cirrhosis who had lived in The First Hospital of Jilin University during January 2016 to December 2018.There were103 cases of Hepatitis B cirrhosis,23 cases of Hepatitis C cirrhosis,34 cases of alcoholic liver cirrhosis,10 cases of autoimmune cirrhosis and 7 cases of cirrhosis of unknown origin. At the same time,61 cases of chronic hepatitis in the same period were selected as control group, including 51 cases of hepatitis B,2 cases of hepatitis C and 8 cases of autoimmune hepatitis. We collected the patients' data, such as gender, age, serologic tests and imaging examinations.Case control method and SPSS 24.0 software was used for statistical analysis. The measurement data conforming to the normal distribution are expressed by mean ± standard deviation(sx ±),the comparison between groups is expressed by t-test and variance analysis, the measurement data not conforming to the normal distribution is expressed by median and quartile spacing [M(p25-p75)],the comparison between the two groups is performed by nonparametric rank sum test; The counting data were described by frequency and rate, and the comparison between groups is performed by ? 2and Fisher's exact test;the correlation of two variables was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation analysis method.Results:1.The expression level of serumGP73 in liver cirrhosis group and hepatitis group were 208.48 ± 93.59 and 156.79 ± 57.49 respectively, the expression level of serum GP73 in liver cirrhosis group was significantly higher than that in hepatitis group(p< 0.001);the expression level of serum GP73 in the compensatory cirrhosis group and the decompensated cirrhosis group were 157.34 ± 90.22 and 223.75 ±90.14 respectively, there was prominent difference(p< 0.001)between the two groups for expression of GP73;the expression levels of GP73 were 115.00 ± 48.84,159.32 ± 47.37 and 181.16 ± 46.68 in the mild, moderate and severe chronic viral hepatitis group respectively.,the expression levels of serum GP73 in the mild chronic viral hepatitis group was significantly lower than those in the moderate and severe chronic viral hepatitis group(p< 0.05),there was no significant difference in serum GP73 expression between the moderate subgroup and the severe subgroup(p = 0.14).2.The levels of serum AST(r=0.404,p<0.05)?ALT(r=0.226,p<0.05)?TBil(r=0.527,p<0.05)?PT(r=0.477,p<0.05)were positively correlated with the levels of serum GP73 in patients with cirrhosis, the levels ALB(r=-0.611,p<0.05)?platelet counts(r=-0.179,p<0.05)?PTA(r=-0.398,p<0.05)were negatively correlated with the levels of serum GP73 in patients with cirrhosis;the levels of serum AST(r=0.258,p<0.05)? ALT(r=0.312,p<0.05)? TBil(r=0.437,p<0.05)? PT(r=0.541,p<0.05)were positively correlated with the levels of serum GP73 in patients with chronic hepatitis, the levels ALB(r=-0.447,p<0.05)?platelet counts(r=-0.379,p<0.05)?PTA(r=-0.516,p<0.05)were negatively correlated with the levels of serum GP73 in patients with cirrhosis.3.The levels of serum GP73 in patients with Hepatitis B cirrhosis,Hepatitis C cirrhosis, alcoholic liver cirrhosis, autoimmune cirrhosis and cirrhosis of unknown origin were 199.62 ± 100.01,204.21 ± 71.17,235.67 ± 91.28,192.14 ±124.62 and 218.50 ± 94.19 respectively, there was no statistical significance among all groups(p = 0.39);the levels of serum GP73 in Child-pugh A,B and C groups were136.76 ± 57.64,198.66 ± 80.37 and 207.91 ± 94.40 respectively. The levels ofserum GP73 in cirrhosis patients increased gradually(p< 0.05).4.The expression level of serum GP73 in patients with HBV DNA < 50IU/ml and HBV DNA ? 50IU/ml were 99.00(88.25149.25)and 204.00(151.00257.00)respectively.The levels of serum GP73 in patients with HBV DNA ? 50IU/ml was higher than that in patients with HBV DNA < 50IU/ml(p< 0.05).5.The expression levels of GP73 in cirrhotic patients with gastrointestinal bleeding and without gastrointestinal bleeding were 317.39 ± 80.44 and 187.89 ±87.83 respectively. The level of serum GP73 in the patients with gastrointestinal hemorrhage was significantly higher than that in the patients without gastrointestinal hemorrhage(p<0.05);the expression levels of GP73 in cirrhotic patients with hepatic encephalopathy(HE)and without hepatic encephalopathy were 318.71 ± 126.83 and 198.40 ± 85.08 respectively, the expression levels of GP73 in cirrhotic patients with hepatic encephalopathy was significantly higher than that in patients without hepatic encephalopathy(p< 0.05).Conclusion:1.The level of serum GP73 in cirrhosis group was significantly higher than that in hepatitis group;2.The level of serum GP73 in Child-pughB ? C groups were significantly higher than in Child-pugh A,and the level of serum GP73 in decompensated cirrhosis group was significantly higher than that in compensated cirrhosis group;3.The levels of serum GP73 was no difference among the patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis, hepatitis C cirrhosis, alcoholic liver cirrhosis, autoimmune cirrhosis and unknown cirrhosis.
