In the information age,many data files can be easily created,updated,retrieved,and deleted.Due to a series of advantages of digital data files,the field of medical imaging has also entered the information age.Many imaging and text diagnosis and treatment by digital data have gradually been applied by major medical institutions and scientific research institutions.The current international medical image file format is the DICOM standard.In the latest DICOM 3.0 standard,patient information is stored in clear text due to many considerations such as compatibility and versatility.Anyone or any device that supports the DICOM standard can access the content in the DICOM file.If any DICOM file containing patients' privacy is leaked.The patient's private medical information may be viewed and tampered by unauthorized third parties.Designing a set of security mechanisms for medical imaging has become the top priority of society's personal privacy.Aiming at the security weakness of the DICOM protocol at the file level,this paper uses AES,RSA,and MD5 encryption algorithms to design a set of digital medical image security mechanisms compatible with DICOM format based on image steganography,information digest,and data desensitization technologies.Then security issues of DICOM digital medical images during storage and access are solved.In order to fit the actual scenario in the medical diagnosis process,this security access mechanism has been designed with multiple roles,and the corresponding access mechanisms are designed separately,which has good practicability.On the premise of ensuring security,the security mechanism is biased toward good parallelism with algorithms selection,which ensures the convenience and speed of digital medical image viewing to the greatest extent.First,the background and significance of this research are described,and the development status of digital medical imaging and the development status of digital medical image security mechanisms are introduced.Based on the above status,the main research direction,main research content,and overall structure of the paper are described.Secondly,this article details the development history of the DICOM standard for digital medical imaging,introduces the file components defined in the latest DICOM 3.0 standard,including the structure of text and picture tags,the meaning of each group of DICOM tags,and the experiments involved in this experiment.Then security-related technologies,including key characteristics,mainstream symmetric / asymmetric systems,MD5 signature algorithms,information digest generation,image steganography,and information desensitization are introduced,which has laid the groundwork for this security mechanism,and a multi-label information digest algorithm and an LSB image steganography algorithm suitable for the pixel structure of DICOM images are implemented.Thirdly,this article implements a secure access mechanism that can be used in the DICOM standard.It introduces the detailed components and security principles of the secure access mechanism,including the experimental environment of the security mechanism,the selection of experimental tools,and the structure of the experimental example DICOM file.And so on.In this paper,a set of key generation algorithm with “salt” based on patient identity information is designed,hierarchical access mechanisms for multiple roles such as doctors and patients are also developed for the algorithm;and a set of implementations of sensitive tag digest,tag desensitization and tag verification module which are suitable for the DICOM 3.0 standard is implemented.Next,this article details the design principles and algorithm selection of each module of the security mechanism,including key generation module,sensitive information summary module,tag desensitization module,image steganography module,and file encryption module.Check.Then,this article explains the multi-role encryption and decryption steps,analyzes the various security issues that may arise from this security mechanism in detail,and lists the handling methods of various abnormal situations.Finally,based on the foregoing experimental results,this article draws experimental conclusions,proposes prospects and improvements derived from this experiment,and analyzes the algorithm overhead.
