| Objective:To determine the plasma Homocysteine(HCY)levels in patients with essential hypertension of Zhuang nationality and Han nationality,explore the difference of plasma HCY between Zhuang nationality and Han nationality and its relationship with essential hypertension,so as to provide a method and basis for the prevention,diagnosis and treatment of essential hypertension in the Zhuang population.Methods:A total of 300 patients with essential hypertension were collected as"hypertension group",including 150 cases of Zhuang nationality and 150 cases of Han nationality.In addition,300 patients with normal blood pressure were collected as"control group",including 150 cases of zhuang nationality and 150 cases of han nationality.The plasma HCY and blood lipid level of each group were measured and analyzed statistically.Observe the relationship between HCY level and hypertension grade in Zhuang hypertension group and Han hypertension group.Results:(1)The level of HCY in the hypertension group was higher than that in the control group(15.05±3.58 VS 10.92±2.27μmol/L,P<0.05);The levels of Total Cholesterol(TC),Triglycerides(TG),Low Density Lipoprotein-Cholesterol(LDL-C),and Body Mass Index(BMI)in the hypertension group were higher than those in the control group(4.53±1.01VS 4.26±0.82 mmol/L,1.64±0.96 VS 1.30±0.74 mmol/L,2.79±0.93 VS 2.55±0.71 mmol/L,22.99±1.37 VS 22.03±1.22 kg/m~2,P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the two groups of High Density Lipoprotein-Cholesterol(HDL-C)(1.25±0.38 VS 1.28±0.34mmol/L,P>0.05).(2)The HCY level of the Zhuang hypertension group was higher than that of the Han hypertension group(15.84±3.65 VS 14.25±3.33μmol/L,P<0.05),the Zhuang control group(15.84±3.65 VS 11.45±2.02μmol/L,P<0.05),and the Han control group(15.84±3.65 VS 10.40±2.39μmol/L,P<0.05);The HCY level of the Han hypertension group was higher than that of the Zhuang control group(14.25±3.33 VS 11.45±2.02μmol/L,P<0.05)and the Han control group(14.25±3.33 VS 10.40±2.39μmol/L,P<0.05);The HCY level of the Zhuang control group was higher than that of the Han control group(11.45±2.02 VS10.40±2.39μmol/L,P<0.05).(3)There was a negative correlation between HCY level and HDL-C in the Zhuang hypertension group(r=-0.226,P<0.05),and there was no significant correlation with TC,TG,and LDL-C(r=0.053,0.122,0.086,P>0.05);There was a positive correlation between HCY level and LDL-C in the Han hypertension group(r=0.190,P<0.05),and a negative correlation with HDL-C(r=-0.190,P<0.05),and there was no significant correlation with TC and TG(r=0.099,0.043,P>0.05).(4)The HCY level of the Zhuang hypertension group was higher than that of the Han nationality on grades 1,2,3 of essential hypertension(13.73±2.04 VS 12.26±1.83μmol/L,16.23±2.68 VS 14.61±2.30μmol/L,20.68±4.34 VS 18.32±3.61μmol/L,P<0.05).(5)The HCY level in the hypertension groups of Zhuang nationality and Han nationality increased with the increase of the hypertension grade,and the difference of HCY level in the hypertension groups at all levels was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The occurrence and development of essential hypertension is closely related to HCY levels,and elevated HCY levels may cause essential hypertension.(2)There is an inter-ethnic difference in HCY levels between the Zhuang and Han nationalities.The Zhuang population is higher than the Han population,and it is more significant in the hypertension population.(3)There was a correlation between HCY level and blood lipid in essential hypertension of Zhuang nationality and Han nationality.(4)There was a correlation between HCY levels in Zhuang and Han nationalities and the classification of essential hypertension.Regardless of Zhuang or Han nationality,the HCY level increased with the increase of the grade of essential hypertension,and the HCY level of the Zhuang population is higher than the Han nationality in the same level of hypertension. |
