| Objective To analyze the incidence rate, clinical characteristics and related sleep parameters using polysomnography and related questionnaire in Parkinson’s disease with rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder.Method(1)PD-RBD group 28 cases,PD-NRBD group 23 cases were recruited, the rate and clinical features of RBD in PD patients were statistically analyzed;(2)i RBD group 15 cases and healthy group 30 cases were added in this study, the sleep parameters in polysomnography and REM sleep without atonia of PD patients with RBD were precisely evaluated.Results(1)The incidence rate of PD with RBD onset was 54.9%,PD-RBD group has older age, longer duration, higher H-Y stage, and increased ratio of symptom with myotonic movement onset compared with PD-NRBD group(P<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference in age of onset, gender, tremor and slow motion symptom onset, hypertension, diabetes and heart disease between two groups;(2)The sleep efficiency was decreased significantly among PD-RBD group,PD-NRBD group and i RBD group, and the ratio of N1 phase sleep, the total arousal index and periodic limb movement in sleep index of PD-RBD group and i RBD group increased compared with PD-NRBD group, the differences werre statistically significant;PD-RBD group and i RBD group were significantly different from the tonic EMG activity and phasic EMG activity(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of PD with RBD is high,PD patients with RBD have older age, longer duration, higher H-Y stage, more symptoms with myotonic movement onset compared with those without RBD;RBD can affect the sleep structure of PD patients, resulting in the percentage of N1 phase sleep increased, periodic limb movement in sleep index increased and increased arousal index;and there are some differences between the EMG activity and phasic EMG activity, which may have some diagnose clinical value for the occurrence of RBD in PD. |
