The Impact Of Adaptation To Facial Trustworthiness

Objective: Under the match of face expression and gender information,use face adaptation paradigm to assess facial expression,gender is how to impact the facial trustworthiness.Taking this article facial expression and gender factors,make up for previous research compared to dimensions in the separation,through the comparison of face expression and gender information integration process,making the research more ecological,closer to real life information extraction.Helps us to better adapt to society,to promote connection between people.Method: Be used of adaption paradigm,subjects to complete the assessment tasks of facial trustworthiness,cognitive bias of the participants as a measurement index,and statistics analysis were processed by SPSS16.0.Results: The experiment 1 showed that participants tend to assess the face of gender is neutral and the expression is anger for untrusted(t=-14.190,p<0.001).Participants tend to assess the face of gender is neutral and the expression is happy for trusted(t=6.955,p<0.001).Participants tend to assess the face of female and expression is neutral for trusted(t=7.874,p<0.001).But participants assess the face of male and expression for neutral has no bias(t=0.705,p>0.05).The experiment 2 showed that the gender of adaptive face images main effect significantly,F(1,59)=10.627,p<0.01;the expression of adaptive face images main effect significantly F(1,59)=32.769,p<0.001;the expression and gender of adaptive face images interaction was significantly,F(1,59)=0.017,p>0.05.One sample t test showed that under the four conditions had remarkable aftereffect of trustworthiness.Combining the two,after adapted the face of female and happy,the participants tend to assess the face of neutral for untrusted.After adapted the face of anger,the participants tend to assess the face of neutral for trusted.Conclusion:(1)the participants tend to assess the face of female and happy for trusted,and tend to assess the face of female for untrusted.(2)Based on adaptive paradigm,after adapted the face of female and happy,the participants tend to assess the face of gender and expression is neutral for untrusted.After adapted the face of anger,the participants tend to assess the face of gender and expression is neutral for untrusted.
