The study tried to investigate the dynamic decision in sport by adapting the dynamic decision making research paradigm.Markov two-step decision task, the self-developed basketball passing two-step decision task, verbal working memory load task and visual working memory load task were used in the research. The study consisted of three experiments.Study One adopted task type(2)× skill level(2)mixed-design to examine whether the self-developed basketball passing two-step decision tasks could be used to explore the characteristics of the basketball dynamic decision-making.The results suggested that there was no significant difference between the two tasks, and the basketball passing two-step decision task could be applied in the study of basketball dynamic decision making. No significant difference was found between the two differentbasketball skill groups.Study Two tried to explore the influence of two types of working memory load on basketball dynamic decision-making.Experiment 2a investigated the influence of verbal working memory load on basketball passing dynamic decision-making.The results were as the followings: the main effect of task type is significant, and model-free scores of the group coupled with the verbal working memory load improved significantly.Experiment 2b investigated the influence of visual working memory load on basketball dynamic decision-making.The results were drawn as the followings: model-free scores and model-based scores did not change whether the visual working memory load task was coupled with or not.Study Three tried to examine the influence of approaching positive emotion on basketball dynamic decision-making.The results showed that the main effect of approaching positive emotion was significant, and both model-free scores and model-based scores were significantly higher in the low approaching positive emotion than that in the high approaching positive emotion. The conclusions of this research are the followings: the self-developed basketball passing two-step decision task can be used in the study of basketball dynamic decision making. The model-free score of the dynamic decision making can be improved significantly coupled with the verbal working memory load, while there is no significant change when coupled with the visual working memory load. Both the model-free score and the model-based score are significantly higher when the participant experience low approaching positive emotion.
