Under the reform of vocational education situation,vocational students learn English textbooks and professional contacts does not close,and out of touch with the actual work of enterprises,vocational school students lack of interest in learning English,the low efficiency of classroom teaching.The globalization of production and operation,international trending also an urgent need to have some English-based senior technical talents.In the context of the social development and reform of vocational education,vocational English teaching reform is urgent.Vocational English teaching in a more prominent issue is the Textbooks and characteristics of the times,the training objectives and characteristics of students decoupling,a certain lack of targeted,practical and fun.Therefore,the development of professional real close to the students and meet the business needs of English School Curriculum,English teachers are researchers and frontline must focus on an important issue.Zhongshan City,the current English teaching professional clothing vocational schools use textbooks cited examples of professional work clothing rarely involve scenarios,there is no specific and practical ability to train in English Majors clothing,and clothing Talent Development Target.There is a big difference from training objective of professional talents in clothing.Thus,the author carried out a large amount of document research and conducted the research on development of school-based teaching English textbook of secondary vocational school in clothing taking the Department of Clothing,Zhongshan City Shaxi Polytechnic School as the example,to seek the entry point of combination of English for secondary vocational school and clothing specialty and provide suitable English learning textbook for students.This paper analyzes existing problems of English textbook and discusses the necessity of vocational English clothing developed their own teaching material,Vocational education curriculum reform of clothing English teaching requirements,the clothing professional learning and professional development of English teaching content requirements,garment industry development trend of international demand for clothingEnglish talent;secondly,according to the characteristics and ways to follow the principles developed clothing English textbooks,development,and explore to build vocational clothing English teaching Material;third,the overall objective of which level of English clothing materials development,curriculum goals,content selection and organization,textbook and other aspects of the implementation of the recommendations of English textbook to build the basic content;fourth,through several courses and teaching experiments show classes,and interviews with experts,to propose amendments textbooks,lack of understanding of materials exist in the structure and arrangement and teaching strategies to adjust and improve,and establish ways to improve the direction and future development.Through the research of this subject,the author has developed the English textbook in clothing based on the Clothing Department,Zhongshan City Shaxi Polytechnic School with the research team.Meanwhile,the author holds,the development of English textbook for secondary vocational school shall be close to reality of students' major and in conformity to professional talents requirements,providing beneficial enlightenment and reference to the development and management of school-based teaching textbook for secondary vocational school.
