The professional development of secondary vocational school's English teacher is a important content during the construction of the modern vocational education system and the development and reformation of the secondary vocational education.For constructing the system,the internal mechanism about the system needs to be reformed from up to down,as well as the external structure between general education and vocational education.As the secondary vocational education has played an important role in this system,the integration between general education and vocational education will become the purpose of both the connotation of the construction of system and the curriculum reformation of secondary vocational education.Under this concept,the English teacher in secondary vocational school need to give up the traditional professional development mode,and take a new step in strategy.And the secondary vocational education will have a healthy future.All above is what this study will do.The key point of this thesis is to explore the present situation,influence factors and promotion strategy of secondary vocational English teachers' professional development.The author adopts both questionnaire and interview as survey method,and then uses SPSS 19.0 as the tool to analyze the data,which ensure the effectiveness and preciseness of the study.On the basis of investigation research and literature research,the thesis states the the professional development of secondary vocational school's English teacher from history and current situation,and then analyzes the influenced factors from subject,object and medium.At last,this thesis puts forwards some promotion strategy about this study point.According to the logical order of this thesis,it has been divided into six chapters as below:Chapter 1,is the introduction of this thesis.The author starts from the background of the study point,and then summaries the theoretical and practical significance.Through out the literature research,the author sums up the value of this study,and then defines the core concepts of this thesis.This chapter provides theoretic support for the later research.Chapter 2,is the part of research,including the purpose and methods of the research,the selection of samples and the compilation and test of questionnaire.The validity analysis and reliability analysis of each sub-scales prove that the final questionnaire has good reaction about the study topic.Chapter 3,is mainly the analysis of the professional development situation of secondary vocational English teachers.The first section is a historical of the professional development about this group.The second section is a description about current development situation of secondary vocational English teacher.Chapter 4 is mainly about the obstructive factor of secondary vocational English teachers' professional development.It was divided into 3 aspects to analyze,which are the subject,object and medium factors.Chapter 5,is some constructive suggestions about how to improve the quality of secondary vocational English teachers' professional development.First is on the level of national mechanism;Second is on the school level;Third is on the teacher itself.Chapter 6,is the conclusion of the study,also including some deficiency.
