Under the social background of "college enrollment","rising prices","employment situation is grim","social transformation" in recent years,College students generally have the pressure of study,interpersonal relationship,employment,love and economy.In the face of difficulties,Somebody grasp the nettle and Growing,Somebody flinch and to be dispirited.What is the reason?Bandura(1989)believes that the individual self-efficacy has interaction with external behavior.A sense of self-efficacy by the behavior,motivation effort,cognitive process and emotional process four aspects,have a direct impact on individual in carrying out the psychological dynamic process of a certain activity in the play;on the other hand,actions and events that occurred,individual on the attribution,obtain the experience of success or failure,the effects of self efficacy of formation.We hypothesized that the life events(LE)and general self-efficacy(GSE)of college students is one of the important factors that affect of post-stress growth(PSG).College students are the future builders and successors of the motherland,clarify the status LE,GSE and PSG and their relationship,improve the level of GSE and PSG,to improve the students' comprehensive quality and innovative ability,do a good job about college students psychological counseling and mental health education,has important theoretical and realistic significance.This study in reference on the basis of domestic and foreign research results,the method using a combination of survey and experimental,to explore the situation and relationship of LE,GSE and PSG,and on this basis by group counseling techniques for GSE intervention,in order to improve the college students' level of PSG.The research includes two parts:the study selected four universities of Guizhou Province,the 912 college students as subjects,with the adolescent life events scale,general self-efficacy scale and college students' growth pressure questionnaire,to investigate the characteristics of LE,GSE and PSG and the differences in the demographic variables,the relationship between the three the study of GSE in LE and PSG regulation;two is the study of group counseling intervention,is the basis of the research universities selected 32 subjects,randomly divided into experimental group and control group,group psychological counseling intervention for 2 months in the experimental group,the control group did not any treatment,through the questionnaire before and after the test of subjects to evaluate the effect of group counseling intervention.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:1.The LE,GSE and PSG of College Students were all at the medium level.2.There were significant differences in LE,GSE and PSG of the gender,education,grades and students of the population statistics.3.The LE(and each factor)of College Students are not significantly related to GSE,but the study pressure factor is the exception.4.The LE(and each factor)and PSG(and each factor)of College Students had a significant negative correlation,but the loss factor of the exception.5.The LE and PSG of college students and their factors were significantly positively correlated.6.The effect of GSE on PSG in college students was regulated by LE's each factor.7.Group counseling can improve college students' GSE and PSG level.
