The five-year higher vocational college students refer to the learners who graduated from junior high school and then begin vocational education directly.This group has to face a series of problems in the study process,as they have not reached the self-identity to deal with the development of professional skills.The aim of the thesis is to promote the five-year higher vocational college students' achievement of professional identity and improve their school engagement.This study is based on the interview method and take cluster sampling method,supplemented with the Occupational Identity Scale,General Self-Efficacy,and School Engagement Scale to investigate 1323 higher vocational college students.The results mainly indicate that:(1)The vocational identity moratorium state gets highest proportion among the five-year higher vocational college students.There are significant sex differences in the average score of vocational identity diffusion;Vocational identity have significant grade differences;Vocational identity achievement,vocational identity moratorium,and vocational identity diffusion have significant professional differences;Students' vocational identity achievement in rural areas has significantly higher average scores than that in cities.Vocational identity have significant differences in the mother's cultural degree.The average score of vocational identity foreclosure has significant differences in father' career.The average score of vocational identity achievement and vocational identity foreclosure has obvious differences in mother's career.There are differences in average score of vocational identity achievement in the family monthly income.(2)There are major differences in gender,grade and the dimensions of school engagement of five-year higher vocational college students.The average scores of class leaders' school engagement are significantly higher than those of the non class leaders.The devotion dimension of non-only-child family is significantly higher than that of only-child family.The average scores of students in rural school engagement are significantly higher than the students in cities.There is a significant difference between the average scores of the energy dimension in different levels of father's education.The average scores of school engagement have significantly differences in mother's culture and career.The degree of school engagement of students whose family monthlyincome in medium level is significantly greater than those families' monthly income in higher level.(3)The correlation analysis of vocational identity,self-efficacy and school engagement indicate that: vocational identity achievement and vocational identity foreclosure have a significant positive correlation with self-efficacy.Vocational identity diffusion has negatively correlation with self-efficacy.Vocational identity achievement and vocational identity foreclosure have a positive correlation with every dimension of school engagement.Vocational identity diffusion is negatively related to each dimension of school engagement.Vocational identity moratorium has a negative correlation with the energy and dedication dimensions of school engagement.The self-efficacy has a positive correlation with every dimensions of school engagement.(4)The structural equation modeling analysis reaches results that self-efficacy takes a partial intermediary effect among vocational identity achievement,vocational identity foreclosure and school engagement.(5)The research proves that group counseling can effectively promote the achievement of the five-year vocational college students' vocational identity through the adoption of the class in the form of group counseling and the intervention of career identity research.
