The Study Of Su Shi's Rural Poems

Rural poems has a long history,it is an important subject in ancient Chinese poems.But relative to other theme poetry,rural poem has not been drew attention and researched,and there are many important problems didn't get in-depth exposition.As a famous expert in the poem,the study of Su shi and his poetry,has abundant fruit.Many scholars did all-round interpretation of sushi's poems from different angles.But systematic analysis research on the Su shi's rural writings,especially rural poems is slightly thin.Su shi's rural poems,though small in number,but it is an important part of his poetry.Studying it has an important value and significance.Based on this,this thesis attempts to use Su shi's poems as the research object,discusses about the themes of countryside,farmer and agriculture of the northern song dynasty reflected in the poems,in order to achieve the goal of interpreting Su shi's realistic ideological content and the unique artistic charm in rural poems.This thesis tries to start with uncertain concepts which are extremely easy to mix: countryside poems,farming poems and pastoral poetry,and elaborates the relationship and differences between them to clarify the connotation and development of the rural poems.On the basis of this,this thesis analyzes the Su shi poem's background and ideological basis,then further analyzes the two themes that rural poems embodied.On the one hand,with "joy" as the theme,it analyzes the natural scenery,folk customs and the character image that Su shi rural poems depicted,which shows the bright side of countryside and rural character's spiritual world full of joy.On the other hand,with "bitter" as the theme,it analyzes farmers' miserable life under the natural disaster and the law tyranny in such kind of poems,presents sushi's deep concern and sympathy for them through objectively revealing the dark side in rural society.Then,it continues with Su shi's poems which pay attention to new farm tools and production technologies and contain the thinking of disaster prevention,disaster relief,discusses Su shi's great concern on agriculture and urgent wishes to improve the rural areas and farmers' living conditions through the development of agriculture.Furthermore,it expounds Su shi poems' inheritance of previous poems with similar theme that represented by Tao Yuanming,Du Fu and Bai Juyi.Finally,from the respect of artistic features and ecological aesthetics,it studies the artistic charm of poetry.On the basis of documents related to the selected topic of this paper fully prepared,I studied his texts,and then referred to existent research results,comprehensively elaborated it with folklore,history,ecology,aesthetics and other related disciplines.With “Three Rural Issues ”as the main body of the poems,this thesis transversely spreads and longitudinally stretches with five parts,systematically studies the Su shi's rural poems,and enriches the study of Su shi's poems.Through the study of Su shi's rural poems,we can deeply understand why Su shi has close relationship with farmers,and also excavate Su shi's innermost sympathy for farmers and people-oriented thoughts as a representative of the Confucian scholars.In addition,to explore the ecological aesthetic thoughts that his rural poems embodied has an important value and significance in today's ecological crisis society,which hopefully lead people to treat and protect the ecological environment.
