The World Cultural Heritage Site Traditional Culture Protection And Local Development

With the rapid development of Chinese society and economy,the power and value of culture for the whole society were more and more widely recognized.The protection and utilization of cultural heritage promoted national and regional development and it has become increasingly prominent.World cultural heritage is the top brand of cultural heritage,that the main problems in the current development and utilization are over-commercialized,the destruction of heritage landscapes and excavated on the surface of the cultural brand and so on.The issue how to handle the relationship between the world cultural heritage protection and local development has always been greatly concerned by academia and the government.What is more,it was our main challenge and compelling obligation that how to effectively protect and rationally use the common wealth.The Tangya T'u-si sites was listed on world cultural heritage because of its integrity and particularity and that the cultural heritage is the main body of the Tujia ethnic minority.The Tangya T'u-si is one of the southwest Hubei lower level of toast which was first builted in the Yuan dynasty,experienced its peak development in the Tianqi years of Ming Dynasty and was the end of its historic mission in the Qing Yongzheng for the gai-tu-gui-liu policy.Although Tangya T'u-si has been history,its sites was retained relatively intactly to become the historical testimony of T'u-si system.This paper,firstly expounded the relationship between the world cultural heritage brand effect and the heritage site regional economic and cultural development,focusing on the relations and principles to the world cultural heritage and tourism development.It also analyzed the problems of protection.Followed by taking Tangya T'u-si sites as a case,discuss the relationship between the world cultural heritage protection and local development.We collected the Tangya T'u-si and its heritage site relevant information through field visits and field surveys.Then teased out the Tangya T'u-si sites protection and declaration process and the site protection before and after declaration.Moreover,these practical problems that exist in the heritage conservation and utilization process were analyzed,including funds,planning,development,utilization and achievement sharing.Finally,the peper analysed the economy and society situation of Xianfeng County under the influence of Tangya T'u-si heritage protection and utilization.In terms of strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges aspects,the future economic development of Xianfeng was also positioning to be eco-tourism as the leading industry,using the theory and methods of sociology,economics,tourism,marketing,etc.Besides,it elaborated the probable economy effects due to Tangya T'u-si cultural heritage in both positive and negative aspects,and also proposed the Tangya T'u-si heritage protection and local development strategy.There are five points put forward.First,highlights the leading role of Tangya T'u-si in the tourism planning.Second,plays culture heritage brand in tourism development.Third,promotes the T'u-si heritage influence by many ways of marketing.Fourth,takes full advantage of its cultural characteristics in tourism product design.Finally,focuses on the relationship between protection and development.
