Literature Research On The Bronze Inscriptions In West And East Zhou-dynasty

This paper takes the bronze inscriptions in West and East Zhou-Dynasty as the research object,investigating the literariness of the bronze inscriptions.The text is mainly from the unearthed bronze and the bronze inscriptions in the literature which handed down from ancient times in West and East Zhou-Dynasty.In a long time,the research results mainly reflect in the annotations of inscriptions on bronzes,dictionary compiling dictionaries,history,cohort studies,language studies,bronze art text study etc.Only a few research concentrates on the literary value.My paper focuses on the bronze inscriptions itself,discussing the literariness and also further exploring the bronze inscriptions' value in literature history.The bronze inscriptions' function meaning and narrative characteristics reflect in revivification and investigation of the original literature environment.Each part points mentioned below:The first part is the introduction of the whole paper.This part consists in the research status of the bronze inscriptions in West and East Zhou-Dynasty,literature value,the aim of this paper and the research methods and ideas.The second part introduces the cultural background of West and East Zhou-Dynasty.This part discusses the creator,creation environment and their identity to reveal the particularity of the bronze inscriptions in this period.The investigation process of culture background is also a process of studying literary original.The discussion of original ecological environment is an analysis of the function of original meaning.And all of these are the basis of the study of literature of inscriptions on bronzes.The third part introduces the birth of the function and style.The bronze inscriptions record specific account of certain things or events.This is one of its specific functions.Some words or ways were used so frequently that they became immobilization and got the meaning of style.The function of the bronze inscriptions directs the birth of one kind of speech style.The style hasn't its later meaning yet,but is general,fuzzy,with function overlap in many places.The fourth part is the writing characteristics of the bronze inscriptions.This part mainly introduces the narrative,rhymes,characteristics and the influence of music ceremony of writing mode.The narrative modes established by the bronze inscriptions deeply influence the creation of ancient Chinese prose.During this period,the bronze inscriptions established the basic modes which take the main line to account the pattern of history,time consciousness and narrative modes of transformation of space and time.These aspects have affected the later chronological historical prose.The bronze inscriptions verse has also made great artistic achievement.Four words rhyme can be compared with“book of songs”in mode,rhyme,and diversification of characteristics.The creation of jinwen environment is music ceremony.Therefore the the characteristics of all kinds of creation and the music have a great connection with music ceremony.We even can say it is the political system of music ceremony directly determines the writing mode of the bronze inscriptions.The fifth part is the evolution of the bronze inscriptions in West and East Zhou-Dynasty.This section describes the different characteristics of bronze inscriptions from appearing,prosperity to die in Yin-Dynasty to Warring States period.
