A Preliminary Study On The Boxer Movement In Liaoning

Liaoning Boxer Movement was part of the Chinese Boxer Movement of 1900,Its rise was influenced by the activities of the Kannai Boxer.This article will show the history of the Boxer Movement in Liaoning Province from the development process and the social conditions at that time,to enrich research contents on the Boxer in Northeast ChinaThere mainly includes four parts:The first chapteris the introduction,including the significance of the topic,research status,and so on.The first part introduces the background.On the one hand because of the particularity of the Manchu regime,In the process of continuously accepting migrants from the ’ Go to the East ’ region in Liaoning,many aspects such as population,economy,politics and culture have been influenced by the Han nationality;After the opening of Yingkou,the development of the modernization of the Liaoning region was promoted.However,there are also foreign forces’ attempts to the three eastern provinces,especially Russia,which gradually exposed the ambitions of the three eastern provinces.The crisis that the three eastern provinces will be occupied by Russia has aroused public dissatisfaction;On the other hand,the development status of the Boxer in other regions,the Qing government’s response policies,and the reaction of Western countries all contributed to and influenced the Boxer movement in Liaoning.The second part is the rise of Liaoning Boxer.Mainly include the first boxer from the customs,the second Liaoning populace group analysis,and the third is the Liaoning people’s high acceptance of the Boxer exposing slogans.The third chapter is the development stage of Liaoning Boxer.It is mainly divided into two parts to show the activities of the Boxers and the actions of the government and Russia.The fourth chapter is the status quo of social unrest in the development of Liaoning Boxer Regiment.There are defeated and opportunistic elements have expanded their powers with the help of the Boxer.They have arbitrarily smashed the houses of their churches,robbed them of their property,and disrupted the daily life of their villages;There were also phenomena in which the boxing people’s demise of the oceans evolved into a SinoRussian war,and the normal social order such as chaos looting and officials and people fleeing were completely destroyed.These phenomena are the aspects that cannot be ignored during the Boxer Movement of Liaoning Province,and they are also the limitations of the times reflecting the activities of the Liaoning Boxer Regiment.The fourth chapter is a summary.During the Boxer Movement in Liaoning,Boxers moved to the late Sino-Russian War because Russia was strong in the name of protecting the railway and sent troops to ‘Missing the Ocean’ later.This ended with Russia’s occupation of Liaoning.In the course of the movement,many social problems have been exposed,and at the same time the national nationalism of the people has sprouted.
