IP film is the combination of film and Internet media in the background of consumer culture.As a new force in domestic film industry,it has been popular and sustainable since its breakout in 2015.Under the influence of consumer culture,domestic IP films have shown their consumer cultural characteristics in terms of material,values,content,aesthetic,style,visual expression,narrative,and so on.Through the interpretation of the consumer cultural characteristics of domestic IP films,this paper explores the cross-media narrative strategy of domestic IP and the development direction of IP industry chain,and considers how to break through the reality bottleneck of IP films under the influence of consumer culture.In the introduction,the research direction and results of domestic IP films are sorted out,and the definition and scope of the research objects in this paper are defined.The first chapter elaborates the relationship between consumer culture and domestic IP film.Chapter two analyzes the performance and origin of the consumer culture characteristics of domestic IP film.The third chapter mainly points out that the domestic IP films are exposed by the influence of consumer culture.The fourth chapter gives some suggestions for solving the problem from different stages of IP development.
