Objective: To explore the mental health status of gastrointestinal cancer patients in China, and analyze the relationship between the various influencing factors. The whole body and mind model was used to intervene in some patients to analyze the intervention effect of the whole body and mind intervention system on the mental health of patients with gastrointestinal cancer. Methods:Descriptive research: A convenient sampling method was used to select 212 patients diagnosed as having stomach from November 2016 to September 2017 at the Department of Oncology and Intervention of Wanji Medical College of Gannan Medical College and Gannan Second People's Hospital of Wannan Medical College.Intestinal tumor patients were studied using general condition questionnaires,General Hospital Anxiety/Depression Emotional Rating Scale(HADS),Psychological Elasticity Scale,Toronto Immersion Scale,General Self-Esteem Scale(ESE),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)Big Five personality briefs collect patient data. The overall situation of mental health of patients with gastrointestinal cancer was analyzed to find out the factors that affected their mental health. The score of HADS scale was used as the dependent variable, and the difference between the single factor analysis and correlation analysis was statistically significant. As an independent variable,SPSS 17.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data.Intervention study: From September 2017 to January 2018,according to some variables in the exploratory study affecting the mental health status of patients with gastrointestinal cancer, the body and mind integrated intervention system was used tointervene the patients, and the intervention group included 10 cases.Intervention was performed using the overall physical and mental intervention model. In the control group,10 patients were treated with general general care. Before and after the intervention, general condition questionnaires, general hospital anxiety/depression emotions(HADS),psychological elasticity scale,Toronto immersion scale, general Self-esteem scale(ESE)and General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES)Big Five personality were used for scoring.SPSS17.0 was used for statistical analysis of data to evaluate the clinical intervention of physical and mental whole intervention model for the mental health of patients with gastrointestinal cancer.Results:1.Cross-sectional study(1)The highest score of the anxiety factor score of the HADS scale was 15;the lowest score was 2;the mean was 8.08±2.523 points;the highest score of the depression score was 15;the lowest score was 2;the mean value was 9.19± 2.704 points, the lowest score of HADS score is 4,the highest score is 26,the average is 17.27±4.342 points.(2)Univariate analysis: Differences in demographic variables(age, residence, work, and caregiver)are significantly different from anxiety and depression scores.(P<0.05)(3)Correlation analysis: In addition to strength factors, psychological elasticity and its various factors were significantly negatively correlated with anxiety, depression, and HADS scores;immersive scores, curiosity dimension scores, and HADS scores were both significant. There was a negative correlation between the dimensions of anxiety and depression, and there was a negative correlation between self-esteem,self-efficacy and HADS scores and anxiety and depression dimensions. There was a negative correlation between aptitude and openness dimensions in the Big Five personality with the scores of the HADS scale and the dimensions of anxiety and depression. There was a significant negative correlation between the dimensions of rigor and dimensions of depression, and there was a positive correlation between the dimensions of neuroticism and extraversion and HADS scores and the dimensions of anxiety and depression.(4)Statistical regression analysis showed that 6 variables entered anxiety and depression. In the regression model of influencing factors, optimism factor, psychological flexibility,self-esteem,appetite factor, extraversion and openness factor were important influencing factors of anxiety and depression. They explained 43.25% of the variation in psychological condition.2.Experimental study(1)The intragroup comparison results showed that the self-esteem,self-efficacy,and psychological elasticity scores of the observation group increased after the intervention of the body and mind as a whole intervention model, and the scores of the HADS score and the anxiety and depression scores improved.Significantly lower than before the experiment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of immersions and their 2-factor scores and personality trait factors improved significantly compared with those before the experiment(P<0.05).The comparison between the control group's HADS and 2-factor,self-esteem,self-efficacy,and mental elasticity scores was similar to baseline.Improvement, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)Comparison between groups showed that there was a significant difference in total scores of HADS,total factors,self-esteem,self-efficacy,and total psychological elasticity scores between the two groups after intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions:The overall mental health of patients with gastrointestinal cancer is low,and the levels of self-esteem,self-efficacy,and psychological flexibility are significantly lower than those of the general population. The main factors affecting the level of mental health include mood,self-esteem,self-efficacy,psychological flexibility, and personality traits. And so on,is the result of many joint efforts.Self-esteem,overall psychological flexibility and optimism factors, amenity, openness, and extraversion factor personality traits can effectively predict the mental health status of gastrointestinal cancer patients. The overall physical and mental intervention model can effectively improve anxiety,depression,self-esteem,self-efficacy,and psychological flexibility of patients with gastrointestinal cancer, and can effectively improve the level of mental health of patients with gastrointestinal cancer.
