Oil painting is a kind of western painting,four hundred years ago,oil painting with Italian missionaries Matteo Ricci and other missionary activities into China,the first time people contact oil painting.In modern society,the rapid development of economy and culture,for the theme of oil painting and style renovation,in this context,some radical artists began to oppose traditional painting,western contemporary art,experimental art and landscape devices and other art forms are strongly respected,they vigorously promote the contemporary art of the west,deny the value of traditional classical realistic oil painting,the classical realistic oil painting is defined as a kind of no emotion,rigid thinking,empty and decadent theme of painting form.However,the essence of contemporary art lies in its concept and content,not in its external form.The artist can also show his thoughts and concerns about the existence of contemporary human beings through realistic and tangible works.Therefore,realistic painting has great development space and practical significance in contemporary social environment.This paper starts with the classical semantics,and starting from the contemporary Chinese art background,using the method of combining theoretical exposition with case analysis,finds out the drawbacks of Chinese realistic oil painting in contemporary development,and discusses the contemporary significance of traditional Chinese classical realistic oil painting.This article is divided into three parts:The first part is the analysis of the background of Chinese classical realistic oil painting,introduced since the Qing dynasty to the 21 st century,the development of classical realistic oil painting in China,introduced the background of contemporary Chinese society art diversification,thinking about the causes of diversification.The second part is the specific case analysis,through the " Chinese realistic painting school" of Ai Xuan,Yang Feiyun,Wang Yidong and " eight hundred painting school" of Zhang Fei,Wang longjun,the five painters of the work characteristics,style,theme research,combing the development of contemporary Chinese classical realistic oil painting context and status quo,detailed introduction of the two generations of Chinese painters of classical realistic oil painting style and spiritual aspects of how to do the inheritance and innovation.The third part is based on the above-mentioned painter's research,put forward the development of Chinese classical realistic oil painting in the current problem,explored in the era of photography and printing technology is highly developed,the development of science and technology to the opportunities and problems of Chineserealistic painting,put forward the development direction and significance of classical realistic painting,published the author's views on contemporary Chinese classical realistic oil painting.The fourth part of the author,from his own four works,shared the history and perception of the creation,as well as some of the creative experiments of the classical realistic painting in the contemporary context.I hope to express my love for the traditional art by sharing a little insight into the classical realistic oil painting,and hope that the young people of the post-90 s can make the Chinese classical realistic oil painting a contemporary glory.
