The protection of traditional villages in China is facing a grim reality,"Rural memory Project" is an important protection project put forward in recent years,It has been launched successively in many provinces such as Shandong and Zhejiang provinces.Xi Heyang village in Longkou City is a typical traditional village implemented in Shandong's "Rural Memory Project"."Rural Memory Project" is a protection project for the country with rich cultural heritage and traditional rural architecture,good preservation of basic conditions and deep cultural heritage.And the Western Heyang traditional village was included in the first batch of "Rural Memory Project" cultural heritage list in Shandong.This article starts with the cultural memory of the Xi Heyang Village,Analysis of village history memory,family memory,personal memory and experience knowledge memory,location layout,street space,family courtyard,"Rural Memory Project" in West Heyang Village,And focuses on the design and construction of the Xi Heyang Folk Museum.Excavating the memory of the village in the traditional village of Xi Heyang,exploring the inheritance and protection of the memory of the traditional villages in the Xi Heyang VillageIn the above research,the research methods of philology,folklore and oral history are adopted.Combining the related theory of village protection and the theory of memory,this paper combines the village memory with the village space and the intangible cultural heritage,and studies the development of "Rural Memory Project"in the traditional village of Xi Heyang.
