Thoughts On Learning Xian Xing-hai's Yellow River Cantata

Basic on the nationality classical significant of the Yellow River Cantata,this article presents my concepts and theory of this large symphony chorus from its cultural origin,music forms and historical versions.Concluded on conducting learning and practical experiences,Yellow River image is regarded as a specific cultural sign which this article underlines its sublimation and deduction.At the same time,this article observes the composer's unique style of the work in that particular historical time,excavates some relatively typical features and its particular intention,interprets the connotation understanding and expression in the different historical versions.All of these will be presented,combining with my conducting experience.
