The song "Tiandizuohe" is one of the interludes of the TV series "Laughing in the Wind" which started broadcasting in 2001.Composition by Jiping Zhao,lyrics by Ming Yi,performed by Zuying Song,it was included both in the record "Laughing in the Wind OST" and Chinese poetry singing performance record "Tangfengguyun" of Ningjia Zhang.This article will analysis the song in three chapters.Based on the cultural connotation of "Tiandizuohe" and its positive impacts,the first chapter will explore thoroughly the context,meaning and the performance of this song.This research will make sound arguments of its cultural connotation of "Wei Dynasty and Jin Dynasty style",make analysis of its lyrics compared with The songs of Chu,and expound the positive effects that the song has on the development of the "Xia" antetype.In the second chapter,we will make thorough but simple discussion of the song itself and its accompaniment.In chapter three,this article will combine my own experience of performing the song,to make exploratory discussion about how to perform the song.The discussion will point out the necessity of using reference from the performance of Guqin songs.Via exploring,analyzing and discussing the song "Tiandizuohe" and its cultural connotation and performing techniques,this article aim to fill the academic blanks of the film and television music of Jiping Zhao and his other music artwork,hoping this song and other OSTs of the tv series "Laughing in the Wind",will get the proper attention it deserves.
