Research On Haishengbulang Culture

Haishengbulang Culture is an archaeological culture of late Neolithic period in the south-central region of Neimenggu province.After many years of archaeological work,academia have made great progress in research on Haishengbulang culture.However,previous research focus on traditional issues such as cultural connotation and cultural pedigree.There are little research on environment,subsistence,settlement etc.,and further research is needed.The purpose of this thesis is to conduct a comprehensive and intergrated research on Haishengbulang culture.On the one hand,summarise and supplement on the natural environment,periods and types.On the other hand,conduct in-depth discusson the subsistence,settlement pattern of Haishengbulang culture.Hoping promote the research on Haishengbulang culture.This article is divided into five parts.The rst part,introduction.Introduce a brief history of the discovery and study of Haishengbulang culture,and idea of writing and methods of studying on this thesis.The second part,study of the natural environment.the modern natural environment in the south-central region of NeIntroducing imenggu province.And on the basis of former environmental archaeological studies,through a comprehensive analysis of climatic and environmental factors such as sporopollen,sediment,microelement content,organic matter content,peat layer,to restore and reconstruct the natural environment during the period of Haishengbulang culture.The third part,research on periods and types.Collecting and reconstructing the site materials discovered and surveyed of Haishengbulang culture,initially clarified the periods and dates(relative and absolute dates)of Haishengbulang culture.On the basis of periods,the issue of regional differences in cultural features is discussed,and the types of the Haishengbulang culture are divided.The fourth part,social archaeology research on Haishengbulang culture.It includes research on the subsistence and settlement pattern of Haishengbulang culture.In terms of subsistence,by analyzing the instrument of production unilization,the use of animal resources,and stable isotopes of Carbon and Nitrogen,to discuss the subsistence of Haishengbulang culture.In terms of settlement pattern research,include micro and macro settlement pattern analysis.On the micro aspect,using household archeology and settlement archaeology methods.Taking the Miaozigoul site as an example to analyze the function and change of the household and to explore the layout and social structure of one settlement.On the macro aspect,analyze the settlement level,spatial distribution,and interrelationships between settlements of Haishengbulang culture under the support of GIS technology.The fifth part,conclusion.Summarise the main contents and viewpoints,and point out the deficiencies of this thesis.
