Research On One Of The Last Generation Of The Yi Nationality's Tusi Ling Guangdian's National Development View And His Practice

Ling Guangdian is one of the last generation of Tusi in Nuandaitianba,his name in the Yi Nationality is Si Bumuli.He was born in Sibu Rural,Ganluo County,Sichuan Province(now it is called Shengli Rural,Ganluo County,Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture).The special life experience and the high understanding of Yi nationality make Ling Guangdian have his own distinct national development view.In this national development view,the understanding?judgment of the Yi Nationality and the identification of country are organic integration.This national development view's connotation is specific and profound.It reflects the sense of mission of Ling Guangdian and his willingness to serve the country.Ling Guangdian is both a Tusi and a national government official,he carried out much practice based on his national development view.From 1936 to 1949,Ling Guangdian carried out a series of social reforms.Such as establishing the private Sibu primary school;getting rid of the backward customs in Yi District;setting up the Sibu hospital and encouraging farming.Ling Guangdian was also active in solving the ethnic disputes and he took parrt in two pleas in 1936 and 1947.These practice plays an important role in the progress of the Yi people in Liangshan.Ling Guangdian is a distinctive and representative figure,he has important research value.However,the research on Ling Guangdian is relatively weak now.We should study on Ling Guangdian's national development view and his practice more.It not only inspires us to further explore and learn about the great changes in the process of nationalization of the southwest ethnic minorities such as the Yi nationality at that time,it can also help us better handle the relationship between the nation and the state.The three main contents of this paper are:the family history and life of Ling Guangdian;the connotation of Ling Guangdian's national development view;Ling Guangdian's various practice of Yi affairs.Based on the above three contents,this paper analyzes and studies Ling Guang's national development view deeply.
