Wang Yangming’s Emotional Philosophy And The Unity Of Knowledge And Practice

At present,scholars mainly carry out the research on the Wang Yangming’s "unity of knowledge by the concept of "intention"(yi).Therefore,scholars have not refer to the emotion factor in the “intention ”(yi),which lead to it difficult to understand the thought of"unity of knowledge and practice" properly for a long time.in addition,The each proposition of "unity of knowledge and practice" is different in each context and some of the concepts are not clear.which make it more difficult for people to understand the thought of "The unity of knowledge and practice".This article holds that the emotional philosophy plays an important role in Wang Yangming’s thought of “The unity of knowledge and practice”.So we can truly understand the whole meaning of "The unity of knowledge and practice" only by illustrating the emotional philosophy of Wang Yangming.Therefore,starts with the description of the emotion philosophy of Wang Yangming,as a result,the role of the emotional philosophy in Wang Yangming’s philosophy will be clear.Wang Yangming’s philosophy is presented by the description.Then,the writer of this article will state the origin of the "unity of knowledge and practice" and the inherent logic when Wang Yangming put forward the thought of "unity of knowledge and practice",in order to that we can get a general understanding about Wang Yangming’s "The unity of knowledge and practice".On the basis of the above research,I will make interpretation about “The unity of knowledge and practice”.Because the key of understand the thought of "unity of knowledge and practice" is “Yi”,so,this article will analyze the “intention”(yi)at fitst.then I will discuss the relationship between emotion and “intention”(yi).As a result,the "intention" is restored to the emotion.Then I will reveal the behavioral factors in the emotion.through the discussion about the relationship between emotion and behavior,then it will be easy to understand the proposition“behavior and intention appear at the same time”In this way,we realize the partial understanding of the "essential relationship between knowledge and practice ".In the end,we use the hermeneutic cycle about the proposition of “essential relationship between knowledge and practice " and the evaluation to make exchange explanation between“essential relationship between knowledge and practice " and the evaluation.As a result,we will reveals the whole meaning of the proposition of “essential relationship between knowledge and practice ".On the basis of the above research,the meaning of "zhi xing gong fu" will be explained.In this way,we will understand the fully meaning of the idea of "The unity of knowledge and practice"...
