Ming and qing dynasty,the citizen stratum gradually expanded,brutal political officialdom,the period of Ming dynasty and early qing literati in turmoil,the darkness of the society under the background of "stone" and "mei" such an ugly monstrosity disease image against orthodoxy,seeking solace and spiritual.The images of "strange stone" and "diseased plum" widely existed in the art of the late Ming dynasty and the early qing dynasty,and were endowed with personality symbols."Strange stone" and "sick plum" with "strange,ugly and strange" as their prominent features became the representative images of "beauty with ugly" at that time.From the three aspects of painting,garden and literature,this paper explores and explores the aesthetic phenomena of "strange stone" and "diseased plum".This paper discusses the symbolic and self-metaphorical meanings of "strange stone" and "diseased plum" and the lonely and sad feelings reflected by literati in the late Ming dynasty and the early qing dynasty.This paper analyzes the reasons for the transformation of artistic aesthetics in the late Ming dynasty and the early qing dynasty from the three aspects of complex social and political ecology,special commodity economic background and unique literary personality.Through the phenomenon and reason,the aesthetic phenomena of "strange stone" and "diseased plum" in this period are reflected.This paper analyzes the disadvantages of the grotesque aesthetics in the late Ming dynasty and the early qing dynasty.Its audience and communication have limitations.Meanwhile discusses the phenomenon of aesthetic transformation during this period and the creation of modern and contemporary art ugly line contact and produce far-reaching influence,mainly discusses the two aspects of painting and novel.Most of the paintings follow the grotesque expression techniques of the Ming and qing dynasties,absorb the essence of ugly and strange expressions such as xu wei,eight mountain people and shi tao,and inject new contents with the development of The Times.The novel also inherits the tone of satire and criticism of reality in the late Ming dynasty and the early qing dynasty.In the end,the author admonished the contemporary art ugliness creation to seek the footprints of the ancients,and to accurately grasp the essence of art ugliness is an expression of truth,kindness and beauty.As the "stone" and "mei" for clues to study aesthetic phenomenon that the aesthetic transformation between Ming dynasty and early qing,to understand the aesthetic transition between Ming dynasty and early qing,artistic style and literary thought has certain positive meaning.
