Nowadays, the development and creation of movies in the world have presented a trend of diversification. The types of movies are no longer purely pure.Suspense movies are no longer the detective films and thrillers of the past.In other types of movies, the style of suspense films is also integrated. This is because suspense films often use suspense to promote stories, causing the audience to focus on the fate of the hero, causing viewers to feel nervous and sensational.Especially since Hitchcock, suspense movies have become one of the most commercially valuable types. The drama "The Last Three Minutes" to be explored in this article is a suspense-style campus theme film. The application of suspense style has strengthened the artistic appeal of the works and demonstrated a complex and changeable theme of human nature. The use of the ring narrative enhances the sense of suspense, and also plays a positive role in portraying characters and deepening the theme. The drama "The Last Three Minutes",with the heroine Zheng Yi kidnapped as the mainline, tells a story of self-rescue.It has been full of suspense in terms of storylines, that is,whether Zheng Yi was rescued and what the whole story was.In the setting of characters,"The Last Three Minutes" used a means of masking identity,"two people and one room",and used a ring structure to tell stories, making this feature film full of suspense style. In the medium-term shooting stage,a large number of close-up shots were used to increase the color of suspense and pay attention to the expression of light and shadow to arouse the fear of the audience. In the latter part of the editing, the editing of the screen was mainly used to highlight the details of the screen, and the suspense atmosphere of the drama was realized.
