The knowledge representations formed in implicit sequence learning have different states of consciousness.The state of consciousness is complex and varied,and it is distributed on the conscious-unconscious continuum.The measurement of consciousness in the existing studies is performed after the completion of learning,and it is difficult to reveal the dynamic changes of consciousness during the learning process.Based on previous researches,this study designed a new method of consciousness measurement to measure the dynamic changes of consciousness in implicit sequence learning process.In this study,global availability is used as the definition of consciousness in implicit sequence learning,and the validity of online measurement tasks and the impact of consciousness influence factors on the consciousness process are explored.The study included 3 sub-studies.Study 1 investigated the validity of online measurement task and compared it with traditional consciousness measurement tasks.Study 1 collected ERP data at the same time,analyzed the changes of ERP during the learning process and its relationship with consciousness.Study 2 investigated the dynamic changes of consciousness in implicit sequence learning under double-task condition.Study 3 investigated the effects of different response stimulus intervals(RSI)on the consciousness process in implicit sequence learning.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1.The online measurement task can effectively measure the dynamic changes of consciousness process in implicit sequence learning.Explicit knowledge was mainly formed in the medium stage of learning.Implicit knowledge can even influence the behavioral response speed during the early stage of learning.2.When attention resource was occupied,it would hinder knowledge representation from entering the global work space,resulting in the failure to form explicit knowledge.When a small amount of attention was attracted by auditory stimuli,it would accelerate the consciousness process in implicit sequence learning and formed explicit knowledge earlier.3.The condition of RSI=0ms speeded up the consciousness process in implicit sequence learning.There was a priming effect under the Oms condition,but this priming effect disappeared under the 750ms condition.4.The online measurement task was negatively related to the N200 of the occipital region.The inhibition of irrelevant visual stimuli can promote the consciousness in implicit sequence learning.The online measurement task was positively related to the P300 in prefrontal region and frontal region,and showed difference in the learning stages.The correlation between prefrontal region and consciousness was earlier than that in frontal region.The information was transferred from occipital area to prefrontal area and then transferred from prefrontal area to motor area.The correlation between consciousness and brain region showed a trend of forward development to backward development.
